Do you mind me giving you a tip? Please get some wheel chocks, and put them in front and behind a tire on each side before unhitch. You have a lot of weight that can roll away from you while unhitching. You did not have brakes after disconnecting the 7-way and the break-away cable. The X-Chocks are not meant to keep a trailer from rolling, they should only be used as stabilizers, and should only be installed after the trailer is level (last thing I install, and first thing I take off when preparing to leave). Chocks are the first thing I put down to unhitch, and last thing I pull after hitching. Harbor Freight or Walmart have some rubber chocks that are reasonably priced.
Good advice, 👍 I never thought about that, but you are absolutely right, and the wheel chocks will be on the next trip. I'm no expert and appreciate the advice.
Thanks for the video...super helpfull...we JUST bought our first FW about your size...curious your take on pulling FW and backing it in...i have experience with a bumper pull trailer. also your blocks look great!
Thanks for watching! I've had a couple of bumper pull trailers as well as a class A before the fifth wheel. I think as far as the difference in pulling between the bumper pull and fifth wheel I like the fifth wheel pull better, I feel like I have more control of the RV when towing the fifth wheel. I've had to re-train my mind as far as backing in the fifth wheel. It's always the opposite, left is right and right is left! 😁
Hello there love the rig? Question I notice prior to unhooking from the truck. I notice you didn’t chock the wheels. My thoughts were what’s to prevent the rig from moving once unhooked from the truck. I know the rig has weight to it but my chocking the wheels it’s not going to move at all. Just a thought. Keep posting videos 👍🏿

The x -chocks will absolutely keep the trailer from rolling if properly tighened,if you don't believe me try pulling away with it properly tightened.
LOL, I haven't tried pulling off with them and hope I don't! The X-Chock does make a difference when camping.

Fifth wheel rookie mistake! I didn't have to choke my class A! 😁. Will be choking for now on. Thanks for the thoughts and advice.
