Controller A 4988, set the voltage when measuring the small potentiometer and it should be from 0.55 to 1.1 volts to the minus, then you have a current of 0.8 to 1.5 Ampere on the motor. If there is too much, the engine heats up and can burn, and if there is too little, the engine cannot turn. Then the engine just hums. Good luck.

Como ficaria a calibração para o motor de passo 28byj48 de 12V no driver A4988? tenho um e queria usar na Shield V4, irei transformar em bipolar. Porém o cálculo não sei.
Você pode tentar aumentar a tensão de referência movendo o potenciômetro dos drives, aplicar as fórmulas não funcionou para mim, mas aumentei gradativamente a tensão de referência dos drivers e funcionou corretamente

I am making cnc machine using grbl sheild and nema 17 motors . when I move x and y axis they move perfectly fine but when I move z axis it's make holding Torque (Not move in any direction). plz someone help
try increasing the reference voltage of the drivers, do it little by little and move the axes of the machine maybe it can work for you

El programa cambiaria si usara un nema 17
El volataje de referencia, si cambiaria, al igual que algunos parametros dentro de la configuración del GRBL principalmente los parametros relacionados con los pasos por milímetro

tienes que ajustar los pequeños potenciometros ubicados en la parte superior de los drivers
