Hello my name is Crystal and here is a little bit about me 😀:
I live with multiple chronic illnesses that keep me bed ridden most of the time.
Crocheting and the wonderful world of yarn have become my passions keeping me somewhat sane during the battles of chronic illnesses. I hope you will follow my journey through yarn and the love of crocheting and all the possibilities it brings. Although I post video’s somewhat sporadically due to frequent flares in my illnesses, I will always be back with other videos sooner or later :-)
I really enjoy chatting and getting to know yarny friends in our wonderful community, but please be patient as my response time may be rather tardy depending on how severe my health might be on any given day. Please accept my apologies in advance.
I love making amigurumi the most, however I also really enjoy making things like sweaters, hats, afghans and anything that makes my grandkids smile! "WHATS ON YOUR HOOK?"
I’ve been in a battle for almost 15 years fighting against a host of immunological diseases. If you’re curious what my illnesses are here is my most current list, lol.
    1. Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)
    2. Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS)
    3. Small Fiber Neuropathy
    4. Rosacea (Ocular too)
    5. Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
    6. Connective Tissue Disorder
    7. Fibromyalgia
    8. Possible Chron’s Disease
    9. Histamine Intolerance
Also last but not least, I love reading the Bible and the study of Gods Word. What’s your favorite Scripture verse?

That’s wonderful! Your welcome. 🥰 They get to be addictive, lol. 😬 I wanted to get the pattern ready to sell on my Etsy account but with my chronic illnesses that just hasn’t happened yet. It is a lot of work to add pictures and get it written down correctly. 😀

I love how you use a ribbon for stitch markers. You are right if you keep moving a marker then it makes it harder to frog it and know where you are. I am going to try using that method.

Oh my gosh. You're so fun to watch and these little guys are adorable. I'm sure I'll be making tons of these. Great idea for all those little balls of 4 weight yarn I have. Your eye tutorial is very nice too. I'm always concerned about safety eyes coming out of the stitches.

this is such a cute lil monster, great tut Crystal, thanks for sharing :) I'd never tried the dbl magic circle before. it was very hard for me to do with cotton handicrafter yarn, but I can easily see it being much easier with regular yarn and plan to use it for my grannies.

It took me about 20 tries before I got the double magic circle correct. Even after that I had problems frequently until I did the tips I gave you. It does get easier and 100% worth the effort to learn. No more going back to sew in the hole because it comes open. This way it is not budging! Yay!

I’ve been trying to get it all typed up with photos but my health hasn’t allowed it. I am tenacious though and I will keep trying until it’s done. 😀🤗💜

Hello Mary. Welcome to my channel. 😀 Sorry for the late reply. Sometimes I may not be in here for a little bit. Unfortunately I’m chronically sick so I go into bad flares that make me 100% bedridden however I keep on fighting! I love crocheting and my Yarny friends. You all help me to keep on fighting. 🥰 I appreciate you!

I think goggly eyes would be fun as long as they are not for children under 3. 😀 I’ve seen them in crochet before and I love it.
