  • The Ninja Zerostick Pan, in a sticky situation when an egg gets well and truly stuck.
See how it copes with the heat of the oven when cooking salmon.
Will it come clean, without the dishwasher?
    Is it up to scratch?
Find out, see the pan unboxed and reviewed in this Willy Filmit Video

    Love the apron.🍳

Hi Simon, thank you for your comment, the licensed to grill apron was a gift, all I need now is some James Band music to play when I put it on. If only Q had anything to do with the pan the egg would not have stuck.

Where did you het lid from? Thanks for the good video.

    • @WillyFilmit
      @WillyFilmit  ปีที่แล้ว

Hi there, in answer to your question, the lid came with the pan as a set directly from the Ninja website. Hope this answers your question, many thanks for taking the time to ask, glad you enjoyed the vid.

Bought a set of these, overall unimpressed. Treated them with utmost care, but they still scratched, coating began to flake off. I got one pan replaced, but when the same thing started happening, I packed them all up and donated to Good Will. Very disappointing, usually Ninja products are great, but not this time. Going back to cast iron pans.

Hi there, many thanks for your comment, my Ninja pan is still ok, I agree you do have to treat them with much care, no metal utensils, never goes in the dishwasher, and do not use spray oil. It is always nice to hear viewers experiences, once again thanks for your comment and for watching my video.

I bought the full set for over £200. Every omelette so far has turned to scrambled eggs and a full covering of stuck food on the pan. Absolutely appalling for the price, I have tried it with margarine and oil and still the same. Ironically I did the egg test and it went well and was the only reason I didn't return the whole lot. I ended up buying a Michelangelo Granite None Stick pan and I have to say it's the best omelette pan I have ever used. Slippery sliding about the pan with almost zero cleaning required afterwards.

Hi Rick, thanks for your comment, its nice to hear the experience of others, I don't have sticking problems providing I use a drop of oil, having said that I don't cook omelettes in it, I think I'd need 2 dozen eggs as I have the large pan. However they are advertised as zerostick without oil, which is not the case.

We just got ours and haven’t had a single egg stick but only used it 6 mornings for eggs so far.

Needs slightly longer warm-up than other frying pans as you see in the egg test. I amuse this is due to the heavier weight vis-a-vis other fry pans.

Hi Rick, many thanks for your comment, a good 2minutes warm up is required and with a very small drop of oil it never sticks, thanks for watching.

@WillyFilmit Yes, Willy, I'd been watching several video tests of this pan before buying it. In all of the videos, as well as in my own tests on my stove, it needed an additional 1‐to-2 minutes preparing, as compared to my stainless steel All-Clad 3-ply plans.
Absolutely, you need a smear of oil or fat for the best non-stick effect. Just like the stainless steel pans, that oil prevents proteins bonding to the pan. (As I'm sure you know, Willy, a correct temperature stainless steel pan with the correct high smoke point oil, actually becomes 'non-stick'.)
Loved your review. I've seen a great many and yours is one of the very best. 👌

Use a little oil, the non stick is not a Tefal coating which is great for a few weeks. The pan has a ten year guarantee on the non stick coating (tefal don't offer this), try using a little oil and nothing sticks and it will last years 👍🏻

Hi there, many thanks for your comment, as you saw in the video I did oil the skin of the salmon and had no sticking problems, so the ad saying no oil needed can be taken with a pinch of salt.

Stick with it, a small amount of oil in a pre heated pan makes it very workable.
      Many thanks for your comment.
