This show had so much potential, but they decideded to full on crash it into the tired and lazy "white supremacist bad guy" trope iceberg. However worse then that is that is how it stomps on Rorschachs legacy with the association. As a big fan of Rorschach, this is unforgivable to where i will be passing on the rest of the episodes. Hmmm I didn't feel like it didnt have enough action or heroic actics. The intro, and the 7th calvary raid kept me engaged along with the good writing and acting. Also as for heroic actics the cops wearing masks and fighting in a vigilante style is heroic enough.

I don't expect to see much of Dr Manhattan in season 1, I think they will first test the waters before pumping that much cash into the show, since the movie failed dismally. At the end of the day it comes down to the fact that it's a very intellectual comic with less action and unfortunately it might fall face down. Personally I am rooting for the show, I loved the debut.

I worked a bit on one episode and just finished the show after all these years. Shocking and evocative show--very Westwordly, I agree. Loved the social commentary, even though it got very weird at times. Overall I really enjoyed it. And the score was phenomenal. Did you ever finish it?
They are not the slick, fetishized violence of Nite Owl and Silk Spectre during the prison riot from Snyder's movie (Cue Spybreak from the Matrix soundtrack). Sister Night has to work hard for the takedown. I actually found that refreshing.

Don't. If Don Johnson's character was played by an A-list actor, you'd have known he's not sticking around. Staying on this show would've been a good career move for Johnson and I'm still surprised that isn't happening. The supporting actor Emmy narrative would've basically written itself.

No spoiler review. I can't believe what happens to Don Johnson! It was Telegraphed a mile away. Ok......Technically you didn't tell me what happens to Don Johnson..... But you let me Know something Really Important happens to him. So now I'll be waiting for it the whole episode and you've ruined any surprise regardless if it's telegraphed or not.

I worked a bit on one episode and just finished the show after all these years. Shocking and evocative show--very Westwordly, I agree. Loved the social commentary, even though it got very weird at times. Overall I really enjoyed it. And the score was phenomenal. Did you ever finish it?

they're not
They are not the slick, fetishized violence of Nite Owl and Silk Spectre during the prison riot from Snyder's movie (Cue Spybreak from the Matrix soundtrack). Sister Night has to work hard for the takedown. I actually found that refreshing.
The action is very bland
The vigilantes just show the fuck up with guns
Also the vigilantes are working WITH the police which is probably the DUMBEST thing about this show so far

Don't. If Don Johnson's character was played by an A-list actor, you'd have known he's not sticking around. Staying on this show would've been a good career move for Johnson and I'm still surprised that isn't happening. The supporting actor Emmy narrative would've basically written itself.
