Not V’s acting debut! He was in a kdrama series, 2016-2017, called “Hwarang: The Warrior Poet”. He was really good in it too!
The chemistry between IU & V is incredible. The way they cared for each other. She grabbed the pipe to protect him. He grabbed the pipe from her, so she could get away and he could protect her. She didn't leave him. When she put her hand over V's good eye so he couldn't see their ending. My heart broke. The last tear falling, watching them being taken away on camera, then the camera dies and their clothing falling onto to the pile. What story telling. What a love story.
IU can't hear and V’s one eye can't see ,in the end IU covered the good eyes of Taehyung so he won't see the horrible ending in front of them ,im Stuck at how a single tear from Taehyung’s good eye traced its path down his face and IU’s hand gently covered his eyes, It's as if he found a momentary refuge in her touch, offering a subtle relief from the overwhelming sensation ... AH I CAN'T STOP CRYING😢😢

The cubes are trolls/ media. In the MV, she is deaf/mute, he is partially blind - it may seem there is no fathomable way these two can understand each other. This video is dedicated to artists, great Korean idols. The cube represents the Korean music and film industry, where every artist is under threat of social pressure, where one wrong move can ruin their careers, where they can be intimidated by the media and end their lives, living under stress and constant fear. Through the lens of a video camera, artists, idols of many, are beautiful and happy, but in real life they are very vulnerable. The Industry sucks all the juice out of them and then throws them away as if they were old and unnecessary clothes. In South Korea, the big music lobbies have a way of treating artists that is scary. If they see that they are good and successful, they take everything and more out of each of them, becoming ruthless. But when they have been exploited to the point of exhaustion, they leave them aside like broken toys. More than one artist has ended up committing suicide. Everything is very sad. At its end the trolls/ media come to consume another artist and fandom and discard it like a pile of clothes and IU is ready to fight but V (the fans) steps in front of her to defend her and their bond, but they are met with a bitter end. A sad reality every artist must face someday. She sheilds V's good eye to protect him from the inevitable. .😭😭😭😭

I thought Above the Time from Love Poem was her greatest song until this one came along. Her ability to touch my emotions in ways I never thought I could be touched.
V AMAZING acting out all these emotions of fear happiness sorrow furious, in a 5 minute music video is crazy because we see actors failing to act out a single emotion in an 1 hour long episode but here he is, the versatility is showing 😭They they forgot what they were running from because through the lens of the camera, they were able to just love and enjoy life until the reality caught up to them and they were taken away ICRY 😭😭😭😭❤❤😮😢❤

The reaction video is finally a step in the right direction. She is the best idol who writes lyrics and composes music. All idols choose IU as a person they respect. IU has a great voice, but her lyrics are the best.

When do you plan to go down the IU giant rabbit hole? I really hope you do, especially since to me she's the greatest KPOP soloist ever. Love Wins All is already my SOTY and it's just a pre-release.
Such a beautiful and emotional video featuring amazing acting and vocals that makes the experience so personal. I really do hope that Tae & IU do other projects together both film and music as they have great chemistry and when he was on her show their voices also blended so well. So powerful how both tried to protect the other and both clung to each other until the very end. It was a potent touch to have their clothes land together on the pile. This last point yet again showing that while they physically lost to the cube, it couldn't destroy their love for each other. They stayed together in life and death, so indeed their love did win. I can't get enough of this MV, the acting is Oscar level and combined with the award worthy vocals and lyrics it's both heartbreaking but also heartwarming that at least they went together.

V acted in a Historical Drama called Hwarang. I haven't watched it yet, but that was when BTS were early in their journey of BTS. He played for a season I think. So he's not a stranger to acting. And if you consider their acting in the Bangtan Universe - short films and highlight reels, commercials, and MV's. I would say that all of them are actors. But officially, V is an actor.
I Love IU. And SUGA of BTS has done two collaborations with her. EIGHT, which is IU's song that Suga Produced and featured on, as well as People Part 2, which is SUGA's song that IU sang the hook on. She has a beautiful voice. IU has also had J-Hope, V, and Suga on her show IU's Palette, and she has performed songs with them, and they performed on her show. IU's Palette. Also, most recently, IU was a guest on SUGA's show SUCHWITA. She is just an amazing human as are BTS members. And it was a pleasure to get to know her through the shows. She really is special. I love the friendship she has with the BTS members.
Thank you so much for showing fans the video of Kim Soo-hyun and IU in Dream High signing perfectly acapella. I have to watch that about once a month because of the beautiful combination of their voices.
I appreciate how impressed you were with IU in this video, too, and I'm sure you downplayed V's part since it was IU's MV. V and IU are a great combination and he did a great job acting in this video.
I was also kind of surprised that you haven't fallen into the rabbit hole of BTS; I would suggest you might want to at least taste the music from this powerful group's story, along with that of EXO before going to Straykids and the other newer groups.
