You can clean it yourself. Keep in mind that if there is mold between the two pieces of the front lens element, then you can't clean it because it is not possible to separate those two lens elements.
I clean with IPA alcohol (mine is 70% alcohol and 30% water)first, then I use distilled water with a perfectly clean microfiber cloth. IPA alcohol is not going to dissolve the parts of the lens, don't worry.

I have this lens and the part you brushed is covered in mold. Would it be best I go to a repair shop or can I clean it myself?
