My favorite part is how genuine the footage comes off, gives me a feeling of actually standing there in your yard. One of my favourites to watch is Long Way Round and Long Way Down, I’d like to see the Hamster with Charlie and Ewan travel Australia and New Zealand, I could join in on a leg in NZ, I’m sure many others would as well. Well done Richard, entertaining as always.
@@hicks26 if you like LWR and LWD you should like this. She's a Dutch lady riding round the world solo. She films and edits everything herself and does a fantastic job. She's really positive and fearless and nothing seems to get to her. Series 1 she rode from India through all the Stans ( and many other countries) back to Holland. In series 2 she's riding from Argentina to Alaska but has had to be evacuated from Peru due to the virus. Some of her footage of South America is stunning. Hope you enjoy it.
This lock down really has exposed how compartmentalised the TV industry is. The presenters present and nothing else hence the tonnes of videos with echo filled audio or poorly lit living room sets. We are actually spoiled by the current TH-cam trend of creators who have learned it all as they go. With radio mics, diffused lighting, well dressed sets etc

I still miss the bike (ZZR1100 D1) but something that is never discussed in polite "Biking Circles" at least not the ones I used to move in, is that over time and miles, your gloves, leathers and helmet begin to 'stink'. We toured Europe many times and all that sun and heat resulted in all your gear ending up rather claggy and yuk. However, once worn for an hour or two, you didnt notice any more. Or was it just me. Ahh the memories.....

@@harveytaylor7754 Is it? I stopped watching after the first Chris Evans/Matt LeBlanc episode. As far as I was concerned, That format REALLY didn't work with anyone else. Over the years the show had evolved to fit Hammond, May and Clarkson like exquisitely tailored Savile row suits. No other people COULD wear those suits and expect them to fit as well as they did on the people they were crafted for, And with CE and MLB trying to hold onto the same format it became a baggy ill fitting version of what had come before. I'm sure it's improved since then, But it's unlikely to ever capture the chemistry that made the RH/JM/JC "Top Gear" so watchable again. :( Knowing that the BBC would be aiming their legal team right at the grand tour to make sure their new show didn't look TOO "Top gearish" I'm surprised that they managed to craft a show as good as it's turned out to be.
