Wow really interesting listening to what people have to go through to move to Australia. I immigrated to Australia from Scotland in 1979 aged 21. I was originally trying to go to Canada but they told me I needed a green card. So I happened to be in Edinburgh and went into Australia House , filled in my application in October 1978 and immigrated on 24th January and it only cost me my airfare!. Best decision I ever made. Married and Australian, 3 kids and one beautiful grand child. All my family are still in Scotland. Wishing all new migrants best wishes it is wonderful to have you here contributing to this beautiful country.
I love listening to these young Brits. Their journey to the best country in the world is fascinating. I came here in 1977, aged 23 and never looked back. Hey, the pommy family needs somewhere to come for an almost free holiday. Welcome to Oz ❤
Another great video, Ross. As an Australian, born and bred, it’s really interesting what you all have to go through to get here. I tip my hat to you all. I’m biased, but I do think we live in the best country. I wish you all the best for your life journeys.
Some really valid views reflecting the disenchantment with where the UK is. Australi has gained Another wonderful family eh. Thanks all for the valuable insight. 🦘🪃🇦🇺
My mum was a 10 pound Pom that arrived in 1957 aged 9 from South Shields. It was tough in the beginning but my mum is so happy her parents made the decision to immigrate and so am I 🤗
I really hope it all works out for this nice family after all their trials and tribulations. I'm afraid bureaucrats are the same all the world over. My dad's dad was a Scot who came here as a ten-pound pom and he married an English girl when he was over here (her family had just moved here). Later on, his four sisters came here as well. Good on you and them nice vid.
Thas true lived 12 years in the UK 🇬🇧 and economy-wise is not as great as before and there is no quality of life I said to myself I moving out in in1-2 years from UK.
Hi Ross, really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. After some educational advice if possible for my kids 16/17 one in 6th form and one taking gcse's this year. How exactly does the higher education system work over there? My daughter would like to progress to obtaining a history degree. Hopefully, we should be moving to Queensland around July this year. Thanks
Love your videos. So interesting. We are thinking of moving to Auzz (Queensland) from freezing Canada. Reason for education. My question: Is education better there for children that have adhd and language disorder? Do they lable kids their or give a code? Here, school boards code children according to what issue they have so they receive money from the ministry of education. What’s worse, services are not provided or given too late. So would education be better there? Thank you 🙏

How much was spent on the 5 months travelling? Would love to know this!
I think they do say
Life in Australia is pretty great, but the biggest curse is leaving family, community and friends behind, no matter how things are in the UK.
If that English roofer has problems with the heat at work,he can always
go to Tasmania
All the best
I think he'll put up with it
We’re 65 and our son wants us to move to Australia…. 0% inheritance tax compared to 40% …..
There's a congestion charge in England? Sounds like another excuse for a polly to fill their pocket to me.
Every British couple that I met on TH-cam like Australia better than UK.
