Have you tried the Soy Boy ravioli? It’s much cheaper than Kite Hill, and you should be able to find it at Wegman’s when you visit Chris’ family. It’s made in NY, but I’ve only seen it at Wegman’s (anywhere) or Whole Foods and health food stores in the mid Atlantic states.

If you haven’t yet, try the Silk Half and half. It has a teeny bit of natural sweetness from the oatmilk, but no added sugar. I hate sweet or flavored creamer, and the Silk is the perfect vegan creamer. I love these taste test videos.

When I’m trying to say something is fully if spices by not “hot/spicy”, I like to say it smells or tastes “spiced.” I wonder if the TJ’s salad were stored upside down if it’d coat the kale better instead of trying to mix it in its tiny bowl? it's stored that way so the greens don't wilt. You're supposed to shake it to distribute the salad dressing and toppings rather than trying to toss it in its bowl
I have the same issue with silicone baking tins so while it takes a bit more time, I just prefer to use the metal tin on its own and make sure to butter or flour all the individual cups. Not only does it avoid the weird taste but it usually is more crispy :)

That ravioli is super good. I think I might make a creamy vegan pasta sauce next time I have it and add spinach, onion and mushrooms.

I have been just as obsessed with that nacho dip. I have never eaten it heated. Give this a try: a tortilla chip (I like the Black bean and quinoa chips) with that nacho dip and thin a little bit of kimchi on top. That was the combination that I never knew I needed. I also like the nacho dip just for plan raw cauliflower and broccoli. The buffalo dip goes nice with those snack factory Pretzel chips (not at TJ's)

My girlfriend says she knows exactly what you’re talking about with the soapy flavour from silicone. She asked if you use the Costco brand dishwasher soap because that was the culprit for her.
Curious about the creamer....whenever I have used non-dairy (any variation) milk/creamer in a hot coffee it seems to curdle and looks very unsettling. It looks like this happened to chris @16:46 but could just be the lighting/video?? Am I the only one that experiences this?
it only happens to me when the coffee is acidic. I typically drink super dark roast non acidic coffee so it doesnt happen often but i get creamer curdle with gifted coffees

Often times soap can stick to silicone when there is oil residue on the product. Spraying with Lemon/lime juice or vinegar and washing throughly should help.
I think shredded potato pasta already exists as hash browns haha...but would probably be bomb with some marinara

Add some macadamia nut oil and cinnamon to the banana fritters before cooking. It makes them soooooo much better!!

The oat creamer is very sweet. I water it down with the Califia hazelnut creamer
I highly suggest the Jim Beam branded Maple Bourbon BBQ sauce. I can find it at Walmart.
I think the soapy taste is literally just soap. I notice I have to give silicone things extra rinsing time. (But I don’t have a dishwasher.)

the ravioli is very good & a bargain! I love the Kite Hill but it’s definitely expensive. I usually only buy it on sale.
Try the banana fritters with the vegan whip cream that Trader Joe's sells. It is the bomb!
Kite Hill is definitely better IMO but I ate the rest of the pasta as a leftover and it tasted so much better the next day (as pasta usually does).
