Girl finding a boards patient is real. I had a patient they had high BP. She couldn't get a medical clearance so I lost her two days before my test. Found another patient within 30 mins after that. And then I failed my test by a half of a point!!!! I was devastated and thought it was the end of the world. I just retook it yesterday and I passed!! I graduated next Friday and it makes it so much more worth it!! I love this career
Just graduated! I took ADEX by CDCA also. I found my board patient on Facebook through a buy/sell/trade group, paid them $100. Scariest thing ever! Some of my classmates found their board patient the day before.
Fellow RDH from Michigan 😉 love your page!! One of my best friends was my board patient. Yes everyone she's so right!!!! Find a patient that has not had a prophy in over 3yrs!!!! Check for that "bump in the night" (calc), you want a Moderate-heavy patient. Definitely know there med history!!! Make sure there's no fractured teeth in that quad you plan to use!!! My program did a Mock clinical of the board's and it was so helpful! If the testing site has an orientation..GO!!! Some did not take advantage of it and was so lost the day of boards. If you have to pick up your patient please do lol dont depend on them to be on time!!! Girl...you laid it out in this video 😉❤

Everywhere else I'm reading people didn't need all these but this associates program does. But I am applying to surgery tech as well just in case I don't get in for whatever reason.
I will be taking the addex this may. Thank you so much for your video, it was really helpful. I was having a hard time finding people who took this one as mostly everyone talks about all the other ones. Are you required to bring your own anesthetic tools or does it depend on the testing facility?

I’m a dental assistant aswel. Knowing how to take XRays and knowing the instruments will definetly leverage in hygiene school but there are classes you need before applying you can do i!! and in the end it will be soo worth it
I am gonna be in my 3rd semester this summer and I still don't feel comfortable with the instruments..what helped you get more comfortable? I am also having trouble even feeling for the calculus and going sub is probably even more challenging...any tips?
Hey girl! a lot of practice helped me and i did tutor track and got help from instructors and when we practiced on each other ! I had my challenges with the instruments and practice helped a lot

Everything is expensive. I feel its reasonable. Plus I get to hang with not one But two hotties for the weekend and get paid. I'll take That all day...😈 😁
My two state boards candidates made an financial agreement. I showed up and did my part I acted on good faith and a handshake. Was told check would be in thee mail two weeks ago. And I received nothing. Do I have any recourse? ? ? Like filing complaint thru the JC program. With holding liscene until they follow up with me? Thanks stay beautiful.
I haven’t even gotten into my program and I’m already worried about finding my boards patient 😅
