This is so helpful. I’m going to get a feeling wheel, to better define my feelings. I need to learn or practice compassion on myself 🙃. I have one of your books that is helping me also. God Bless you!

This was a beautiful reminder. I've been attempting compassionate grace for about a month now and it's hard! I was doing great at first but lately I started to spiral and went back to negative talk

Thank you Mark ❤️. I am at 6:50. The Sobriety statement really stuck out - not denying, not drowning. So helpful. So timely for me tonight. You are a blessing ☝🏼

Thank you for your wonderful message. If any believers could kindly pray for me and to gain control over my anger, I desperately need them. I’ve trusted in Christ but still am entrenched daily in anger and it’s getting the best of me. Thanks so much and God bless!

The point you made about emotions being meant to work through us, and the need for space while they work through us was very helpful! I just began my personal mental and emotional health journey, and i can identify myself and people in my family as the type to deny and suppress emotions. And recently I've experienced myself also drowning in sadness or depression. Your videos have been a huge discovery for me at this point in my journey, thank you for your faithfulness. The most monumental shift for me thus far has been learning to receive the Love of the Father, and allowing that to be my foundation, setting the tone for my own self love. (of course its a work in progress). I believe this year will be a year of emotional and mental healing for many of us and being led to you is truly a blessing from God. Thank you Mark, & Melissa, & Godbless you both and your family abundantly.

Excellent! What I liked was that we need to have compassionate grace for our feelings or our inner world will become toxic. Also that our interpretation may be very distorted when we believe a feeling is an accurate representation of a problem.

Hey Mark, can you do a video on dealing with divorce. I'm someone who struggles deeply with religious OCD and it cost me everything. I also struggle with perfectionism. I've been watching a lot of your videos and they help a lot. The divorce only seems to further my inner feelings of being not good enough.

Letting my emotions work through me is a little confusing as someone who often drowns in my emotions. In my head I think I am working through them, though logically I also understand I'm just ruminating and worrying

My biggest problem my entire life so far is allowing emotions to affect me physically. Do you have some training methods on how to stop this? I’ve been trying to work on this, seems like forever.

I'm too panicked and anxious to watch videos. I desperately want to not live anymore. Every thought is overwhelming. My brain circuitry is fried from an antidepressant. Lord, please take me. Please make it stop.
