WRONG-Oh about the sectional snake. - If you are in 1-1/4" iron pipe with standard IP fittings, you are right it won't work, but if you get into like 2" and up with sanitary tees and els no sweat. - We have 120' of cable (Got 2-reels full) and run through 2" soil pipes around 90s from the roof to 4" and even the street no sweat. Even use root cutters!. We have had it 2 years and it works just as good as the stolen Rigid the it replaced at 1/5 the price.

I have one and it has worked for 2 years. In fact, I had to use it this morning. Tree branches. Pouring salt down there now, too.
If 5/8 open coil only works on flat piping it of poorer quality also could have just used drop head and avoided opening piping
