Our Biggest Ship & the Longest Tour Yet!! Put it in the comments, Was it worth it?😝 Here is the Explanation of Why it was Just the 3 of Us onboard for a Week: bit.ly/3AKxnm3 As you can imagine this took me a long time to assemble, so I really appreciate you guys taking the time to write us a comment and share it with some friends if you enjoyed it! 🙏🏻
Years ago, my family took a river cruise in the early spring from Rotterdam to Basel. On our boat, there was a swimming pool on the top deck that was used quite a bit. One day it was pretty cold and raining so my sister and I decided to go swimming since there was no one else in the pool and we could have some fun without annoying anyone else. For some reason one of the French passengers decided to come up to the top deck in the rain and spotted us swimming. He couldn't believe it! He went running downstairs to the lounge and told everyone, "The crazy Canadians are swimming!!!" Half of the boat came up to see if it was really true. I guess they didn't realize that even on a sunny day, you still have to get wet to go swimming.
That galley!!!!! They're not messing about. 15 chefs for 110 guests and 60+ crew. When I was in the Army, I recall one situation, we must have had 150 to 200 people in a particular location, and the number of chefs looking after us was 4 or 5 at the very most.
Honestly, I'd far rather do a river cruise like this than an ocean one. Simply beautiful scenery and far fewer people on it, so service would be far more personal. The level of access ya'll have been accorded is simply amazing! The crew are on another level. Splendid!
You know what would be cool? A NautiStyles sponsored cruise aboard a ship like this. Bet there'd be enough folks to fill it up. Or maybe take a survey of preferred destinations and port of departure? USA, Europe, etc? And then find a suitably sized ship and location?
@NautiStyles I'm thinking it's one of my better ideas. I follow a diving channel and they do an all inclusive meet, greet and dive once a year and it's always sold out. They book it through them, after getting a deal from the dive resort, but you pay the resort directly, so they don't have to deal with any of the money or hassles.

This is incredibly fun and interesting to watch. I’m so impressed with this cruise line and the owner’s vision. Everyone seems to love their jobs but miss family and friends. 😊❤️
Victoria & Rico this was an exceptional Part#2 Riverside Yacht tour. Well worth the watch and actually getting to know the jobs these people crew actually do. You asked them what was the worst part of the job and hardest job on board a cruise ship Sea/Ocean/River. I agree missing family members/ Friends and hardest job. To this answer I'd say all their jobs. It is extremely hard to keep every guest happy as there's always "THAT GUEST"! Physical work of coarse the kitchen staff mentally and physically. The hardest Mentally and stressful the Captain as he or she is responsible for the ship, crew and passengers safety overall. 10/10 for this video. cheers guys. Rico hope your Aunt enjoyed herself as only got a quick glimpse of her this video.
In my teens ive worked in a restaurant with 200+ seating capacity and a hotel with 1500+ sleeping capacity that was always fully booked, and both had kitchens that felt smaller than the one on this boat. The restaurant had a single dishwasher, the hotel had 3 older ladies that had to work as late as 4-5-6am till they wash all the dinner dishes.

Thank-you so much for this amazing video, it must have taken some effort but is very much appreciated. On a cold November evening it’s a real pleasure to see you both very much in your element making such great stuff for us to watch. I think Rico might have thought Christmas had come early being allowed to sit in the captains seat and to have a go as it were. I don’t think Rico had expected it at all. Victoria always captivates us and she really excelled from start to finish. I hope you both managed a little time to switch off and enjoy the odd cocktail or a few glasses of Champagne to celebrate the occasion. Both of you selflessly make videos and give us all something special, your time and effort. This was a long video but there was a lot to include and featured some great insight into things. In the video you mention the pods to propel the ship, they are a great way to move the vessel, just as a note on QM2 they have 4 pods at the rear and some serious bow thrusters and it moves away from the dock side without any assistance which is awesome as it doesn’t seem real at the time. I wonder if you guys would ever give QM2 a go, it’s unique and very much an icon of the current age. Christmas is not far away and I sincerely hope you both have a great time wherever you spend it, your new year will be something special just like yourselves. The best is yet to come, your new boat will literally be a new chapter in your lives and you will no doubt be even more special to us all. Thank you.
Like I said last week. You two have worked so hard over the years to give all of us the best tours. This is tops. You have it on tape to remember it in the future. You deserve it. I can not think of a better marketing tool for Riverside to promote there "Ultra" cruise. They should refund any money you may have payed. You two have been in my "house" so many times now that you are like good neighbors. There will be a long waiting list for your charters.
The flickering is probably due to the frequency differences between the on-board network and the GoPro. The on-board network is certainly 50 Hz and Rico has set his GoPro to the American system of 60 Hz (30/60fps). If you are outside of Amiland, try setting the camera from 30 (60) fps to 25 (50) fps. This should actually prevent the flickering.
