Got me droolin' Going to look at the very same bike tomorrow....has 89K on it and the pics look showroom. I am a winger. Time to step up. Wish me luck!
I've the exact bike and adding DNA Mammoth 21 inch rims. I want to use the Progressive monotube that lower 2 inches like you. How dose it ride lowered 2 inches? Would you recommend it .
@@shadowrayray did you happen to look into how the cam chain tensioners on the 1999-2006 softails had too much spring tension and were eating up the compound on the tensioners resulting in failed tensioners that could possibly clog the oil pump thus resulting in grenading your motor. I have a 05 that I just bought with 13K miles on it and am having the tensioners changed to hydraulic ones. New Cam Plate and since It's going to be opened up anyhow I'm upgrading my cams for more HP. There are tons of You tube vids on this problem. Just a little tip from the DAWG in The Show Me State of Missouri... go watch some of GixxerFoo vids on Harley stuff,, he's very informative...Happy New Year Shadow....
@@barrydawg7544 very first thing checked on this bike when I purchased it from the previous owner. Luckily this bike was perfect, no issues at all. Thanks for the info.
Sorry I can’t help with part numbers, I will do my best to remember what those were, it’s been awhile. I think the bars were Drag Specialities Buffalo beach bars and the risers were for sure Carlini lo-pro risers. Hope that helps
Really nicely done!! All those parts you mentioned and perfect for this style of bike! Congrats man. Where did you go to have the seat shaved down? That’s a tough one to get done.
You are correct this bike was built for low and slow. I have several other bikes for performance, hopefully those looking at this bike enjoy what it was built for.

How long have you had the dna wheels? I love them but hear so many bad things about them. Nice ride man
I have owned numerous bikes with DNA Fat Spokes and have never ever had an issue. I would recommend them to anyone.
How did you shave the passenger seat
Removed the cover, used a flap disc on my grinder to remove and shape the foam. Recovered.
What width is the back rim? Also, what is the tire size?
Sorry I sold the bike awhile back and cannot remember. It is an 18” DNA fat spoke on the rear, don’t remember tire size
