EDIT: The final measurements for the drop were 1.5” at the fishtails and the rear fender.
Not that I'm in a rush, I live in Va. and ordered my system (2014 Breakout) about 4 or 5 weeks ago. When I ordered it, they asked to allow for up to 4 weeks time before shipment would be made. Mine will be here today but your not the first person to say they had theirs delivered within a couple days of ordering. I find that strange but folks shouldn't necessarily expect a quick delivery time from them. Excited about getting mine on soon. Great looking bike!
Oh wow. I hadn’t heard of it taking that long. But if they told you to expect a delay, maybe they were waiting on production for a certain part of the system or something. Best of luck with the build and I’m sure you will love the kit once you get it one. 🤙🏼

You can find them on eBay, Dennis Kirk or similar websites. Mine were 7” and 4.5” I believe

It’s a Mustang “Runaround” solo seat. I love it.
SO does that mean you would have to remove the kit to change the oil in your trans???
So, the short answer is yes. The long answer is, sort of. So the kit DOES restrict the trans oil drain plug. There is still access to the plug from the front side if you take the front of the shotgun shock loose and “swing it downward.” I haven’t had to cross this bridge quite yet, so I will be torn as to doing it this way or siphoning it out the top (if possible). Great question.

Any advice I bought some 50 spoke mammoths from a 2013 softtail was wondering if I can fit them on my softtail 2005 if someone can lead in the right direction could beat the prize
Hey Ivan. I purchased my bike with the DNA’s on it. I’m not sure if the 2013 wheels are compatible with 05’s. I do know that there’s a process for installing them (just from speaking with the previous owner). Little things like mocking up the fender prior to putting the tire in. Once the tire is in, then you can reinstall the fender bolts. Little things like that are the only tips that I would have. Thank you for watching and best of luck with your bike. Ride safe. 🤙🏼

@@IvanMorales-nm7hn you will need to swap wheel bearings since Harley started to use a larger axle in the later year bikes.

Right on. I have a 2003 numbered paint softail that I made a Cholo of. Yes Shot Gun is the way to go for the rear but now I had to find a system for the front that had no bag pump. Found on that mounts on the space under the seat. Will put it on before I get the new center stand from Dirt Bags center stand. Keep the round side down.

Love my Shotgun Shock, I tried the Platinum on my 03 and it sucks compared to Shotgun. Beautiful bike

What differences can you point out between the 2? How long does it take to air up shotgun after dumping all the air?
@@ogkracingthe Shotgun installation is much easier than the Platinum, in fact alot easier! Shotguns customer support is far superior, I called Platinum a couple of times and asked questions and they gave me advice but it was provided with a bit of a shitty tone in their voice. I would never buy Platinum again.
@shadowrayray ahh I see. I currently have Platinum but I feel like it takes a while to air up after dumping. Do you recall roughly how long your shotgun takes to come up?

Yes, Shotgun air kits are not “fast up” air kits like some. But I like the quality and functionality of their kits. I wish it was faster though! Lol
@@bittsix.7it’s odd because I have watched several videos them (Shotgun) being much faster on the air up. Even their video on their website shows it’s “fast up”. Absolutely love the bike btw.
