Fardriver ND72530/72680 Controller Wiring for QS138 motor in 250cc Enduro conversion

This video breaks down the wiring for the QS MOTOR and ND72530/72680 Fardriver controller. I wanted to really understand how the wiring was laid out so I untapped the wiring harness and traced all the wires. This video take a very close look at how to wire this kit. I bought this kit off of ebay for $898 and installed it into my 250cc Roketa enduro so I need to use most of the wiring for keeping it street legal. I have converted several ATV's and karts to electric power but they were with permanent magnet DC motors so I am still learning how to wire brushless motors and sine wave controllers. I learned a lot from this project and hope this video will save you some time.

siaecosys sent me the wrong loom.

There is no identifier on the wire loom, so can't really tell if it's the right one. I think it's kind of generic thou, I needed to modify a few things.

Hello, did you managed to find the blinkers ? I found that the 3 wire plug Pink Gray Black leads to the blinker flasher unit (it was missing on my harness, yours as well)

Yeah my motor is running backwards Iv tried to change the settings in controller but still goes backwards, looks like il have to swap my phase wires around. I got qs138 70h v3 with FarDriver nd72530, I hope I can go forwards not backwards lmao

If you have the fardrive controller there's a setting to switch direction. You need to let it run through its sinking modem it turns for a few seconds in each direction and then when you switch it off and back on it will run in the opposite direction.

Hi I noticed your phase wires are switched, how come? Was motor spinning in wrong way?

Yes the motor was running backwards, some of the videos I watched said all you need to do to change 2 of the phase wires. Turns out you need to change the motor direction in the software. So I changed them back after the video was filmed.

I still have the 26ah 72 volt batterey in it going strong. Get me to work and back 4 days a week on 1 charge for over a year now.
