    I Love this Video!! I actually like that you compare with the stock shafts offered! First off the manufacturer made sure to use a stock shaft that performs well with their club! Secondly some people might want to just buy a stock club and not pay extra for a upgraded shaft! I currently have a Taylor M2 driver which I love BUT I actually really like the C721 look at address!! Also my driver hits pretty high because I hit up on driver so much...I would love to hit that C721 with a stiff Project shaft! GREAT VIDEO!! If I could hit bombs like Thomas I would quit my day job!!

    I bought one new, which I almost never do, based on the performance in both your testing and TXG's bracket. 9º with RDX Blue R-flex. Great club so far. I tend to utilize more of the face than Thomas does (to get my money's worth, I guess) and the forgiveness on heel strikes and strikes high on the face with the C721 is crazy good. For whatever reason the high strikes don't float up like with a lot of drivers - the trajectory is really penetrating and consistent on anything but a really bad hit. And anything anywhere close to the middle is just a bullet. The ball gets gone in a hurry. Now, if we could get Tour Edge to work on their naming of products a little.

      Same. After Thomas’s two reviews and the TXG bracket I bought one off of eBay in mint condition at an unbelievable price. 10.5 degree, stiff, Ventus red. Awesome driver.

    Kinda funny. The... least thought of brand, he constantly hit it the furthest. The absolute best way would have all the manufacturers... Not put any markings on the driver. A blind test. Then, you couldn't argue with the results! Let's face it though, that's never gonna happen. Same thing with stereo gear. Ya can't ever have a blind test, cause if you chose the 3k speakers instead of the 8k set, you'd be looked at like a fraud! Great vid!

    Shows that all drivers are essentially the same. Any variation is more than likely due to golfer error ie quality of strike. Be good to run test again all with same shaft. Then compare to last year's model or model from 3 years ago.

    Thomas has a beautiful swing. Unfortunately, most of the viewers swing 20 mph less and miss the center of the club face rendering this review useless. I doubt there are any tour players watching to see what their next driver purchase should be.

      Well actually I am 55 years old swing at 105-110 mph so I found it very helpful. I think what it shows is the ball speed off the face is the key indicator of performance at any swing speed Would have been great to know what shafts are being used as this is the other major influence on ball speed

      Unfortunately it's hard to test more than five drivers to keep the comparisons fair and ensure that fatigue is not a factor. There are other drivers as well that would compete as well that we have tested in other videos. Luckily we have already tested C721 v Callaway Epic Max LS, here is that video: th-cam.com/video/eqGNnPANmp8/w-d-xo.html

    Too bad his first 3 shots were bad mishits on the face of the Sim2 Max. This isn’t the clubs fault. Not sure why he didn’t exclude those 3 and rehit them ? Clearly if all 5 were similar to his last 2 the SIM2 MAX would’ve outperformed all here

    • @scook2106
      @scook2106 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      By your logic why not just bolt the clubs onto a swing machine for testing?
      The answer is Because we arent all going to hit perfect shots every time and they said at the start they are texting forgiveness.
      And on that note the ZX5 was also a bad shot first up and proved more forgiving than the Sim2 max.

    • @stephendibari5010
      @stephendibari5010 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scook2106 My point was that only the sim max 2 had three big mishits out of the five shots. The other drivers were hit very well so in comparison the sim max2 was the only driver that had majority of the shots poorly hit. Yes it’s not a robot test but when one driver clearly was poorly hit it wasn’t fair compared to all the others
