Hahaha hey wassup Gary! Thanks, its basically my back yard and I know most the ins and out so that gave me some what of a comfort. Thanks for subscribing!
Great solo trip🤙 Wise decision coming back down. Gotta get me a bad ass Tacoma like yours so I can go further out💯 Thanks for cleaning up our outdoors Jimmy, loved seeing you include throwing that trash away too👍
Next time you go there in the snow and you want company hit me up im in Sacramento and i don't know anyone with a capable rig to go with. I got to those neck of the woods all the time. I was just at Bowman lake with my son this past weekend. I got a ram on 35s with a 12k winch in the front on my custom tube bumper. Anyway cheers yall tap in don't tap out🍻
Glad to see some of my viewers notice… ❤ yeah man I had to smog and the blower was giving me all sorts of headaches and I just found it easier to take it off. Thanks for watching!
Passenger drop don’t come with high pinion unless I retube a Ford driver to a passenger. That’s too much work and I found the axle tube for a descent price.
Yeah I know there’s been a few request on getting a trip together but I’m not exactly sure on how to organize that…probably might be posting some trips on my instagram account but I rarely use that too. Any advice is appreciated.
General rule of thumb is just let your people know where you plan to go and if there’s a change of plan then try and update them if possible. Also just pack as if you’re planning to go camping if it’s just a day trip. Your health is priority so carry antibiotics and first aid kit. As far as recovery gear, I never leave the house without all my tow strap and snatch block. Shovels and high lift too. A torch to start a fire. Last but not least some kind of protection on you at all time incase you encounter a bear or something. There’s a lot of things and the list can go on and on… maybe I’ll make a video on it one day.
That's basically everything I take, also I would suggest some tools, extra fluids for your vehicle - engine oil, transmission oil, brack fluid, diff fluid, radiator fluid ext.. lots of food and water 🍺also the bear and asshole protection are a must.
The replacement housing was off I believe a 1990-91 there. It’s a dodge housing but what was unique about this dodge housing was the passenger side tube been retube from the seller to match Chevy width. Chevy’s are 1” wider on the passenger tube. And yes I did have to replace the inner axle to longer ones but re-use my outer axle stub. Hope this answer your question.
Hahaha! I was wandering when someone was gonna call me out on it… I totally forgot that I left my air deflator in my other rig. Luckily I had that little booger in the tire patch kit to air down. 😂 after this trip I ordered another deflator just to keep one in each rig. 😎😎😎
Nice video! Good to see people taking care of the trail! Big balls going solo! Keep it up Jimmy!

Bad ass brotha! What do you usually pack when soloing?

Badass taco …
Thanks! It’s a hate and love relationship
What year of from axle did you use? Did you have to change the axles and all?

Why did you go with a new low pinion front axle and not go with a HP?
Like u said in 02/06/21 snow run “need irok”
Iroks the shit! Hahaha… But not DD friendly…
dude... spend the 50 bucks on a decent tire deflator. it's worth it.
just sayin'
