What are your thoughts on Stephen King?
lol why the fuck are you styled like our cultures and how we grew up you wannabe ?
He rules.
Big fan of his books and their adaptations, no matter how schlocky or campy they are
I had a very similar journey to you when it came to Stephen King and becoming a constant reader. I also absolutely adore It, it's probably one of my favourite novels of all time, not just in horror and I equally really enjoyed this video. Thanks, mate!
Thanks for watching
Excellent work. You were fair, honest and interesting. Just enough snark, no show-offy "I am so above this look at what i know" moments, really stellar work.
I know it was a boatload of work, you deserve more views. It's going to happen for you. It will. And this will get a lot of views as people discover your channel.
Thank you for this video. I agree we haven’t gotten a good adaptation of this amazing novel. If they ever remake it again in the future, they should cast Harry Treadaway as Pennywise. He was Brady Hartsfield in the Mr Mercedes tv series and I think he would do the role justice
No worries. And I have yet to see the Mr Mercedes series yet but you might be right there.
Thanks to the magic of cocaine we now have a franchise and remakes which can never be 100% faithful to the source material in the book they spawned from. Amazing.
To circumvent this problem we need film adaptations that are ALSO the product of copious amounts of cocaine
Damn, Rick James was onto something
Yeah, we waited too long, now we can’t say the n word and child porn is illegal! Damnit! /j
@@ironnoah9461 he really wasn't lying when he told us cocaine is a hell of a drug. For him it was dance and fuckin fuel, for King it was...well, you know.
although not all of you videos's subject capture my attention instantly, i seriously respect you for your work you put into these videos, its seriously impressive bro. keep it up!
Thanks man. These weirder videos are always a big risk.
Great analysis! IT is my favorite novel of all time, and while I enjoy all adaptations, I do feel none live up to the novel. I’m cautiously optimistic about the Max series, and I’m secretly hoping Bill Skaarsgard does return (I love his portrayal)
Man the older movie used to scare the shit out of me
Same, but as an adult it's a little laughable.
@@ScoopedMidsdefinitely is, but I've got a soft spot for it, cheesy as it is.
Currie pronounced just like the Indian spicy stew Currie
What was the point of a child sex scene in his book anyway?
Eddies def not a virgin in the book, heh...
Eh, massively disagree with your take on Stan's fate in IT Chapter Two. Absolutely hate it when any piece of media romanticizes suicide and it's outright disgusting imo.
I prefer Let Me In, it's my favourite vampire film.
How? With all due respect, I can't think of a single reason to watch it over the original film. It's not awful, but like all English language remakes of foreign films it's kind of pointless.
@@ScoopedMids Swedish film isn't original either, so I view the remake as just another book adaptation. The remake is shot better, it's got more atmosphere, and the narrative is more straightforward.
Good point, but the english film wouldn't be made if it wasn't for the swedish one. Like The girl with the dragon tattoo. And your reasoning is fair enough but I felt something was missing with the characterisation and the CGI was overused and didn't even look great.
@@ScoopedMids I've seen way worse CGI (The Mummy Returns, American Werewolf in Paris) so this one didn't bother me.
My favorite book!!!!
I hate all the movies
