    Dude! Thank you!!
I was getting my mom's car ready to sell and it had a slow window. I was dreading digging into the problem when I found your video. It was having trouble going down so, just as you said, I put silicone lube on the rear seal. It worked perfectly and save me a lot of headache and time. Thanks for taking the time to put this video up.
    Cheers

Thanks! I did this and it worked. I had slow windows for years thinking it was the motor going bad so did nothing. Tried your solution and its so good to have working windows again.

What about the clips holding the window to the regulator ? If broken is there a kit ?

This video might help me out. I left my windows down and the car got rain inside. After a few days they stopped working and wouldn't roll up along with the radio that's been cutting in and out now. Didn't know if maybe my windows are sticking? We've checked all fuses multiple times. Put a new switch on and didn't do anything! Please help me out!! No out cam figure out the problem. Was a cold ride to work this morning :)

White lithium grease has worked better and lasts for years. In the summer the silicon based lubes run, the lithium stays put.

Quick question - my wipers don't work on my 1997 Park Avenue - it has a new motor. When I put it on high, they go up halfway, and don't move anywhere after that, not up or down. Any idea what it could be?
    Thanks.

What if the rivet has already gotten worn out? I haven't opened the door up yet, but your description of what would happen fits what's happening with mine. Is that also a simple fix or is it more expensive?

I have the same issue. I have read that you can cut the rivet out, and replace it a bolt. And it will fix it as good as new.

Hey, if that Clip fell out. You need to replace it. It is cheap plastic that snaps. I would go to a local car store and try and match it up with some they might have on the wall. I'm sure they'll help you out and if no luck, pull one off a car at the boneyard.

Deborah Juarez. Did u ever fix that clup issue on ir lesabre. I have the same problem here

@@mrwarmonga Another video shows how to get a rubber grommet the right size to fit the hole in the glass and install a bushing in the center to then use a small bolt thru the bushing hole to afix the glass to the regulator glass holder permanently. Use locktite on the bolt threads so it won't come undone with the minor torque needed to prevent cracking the glass. On your own as to sizes to use but it looks to be a solid fix for plastic parts unobtainable to a very large degree in the first place.

No excuse for the poor engineering.
