- They just kept coming out of the ground one right after another,
We were out metal detecting relic hunting in the woods of NH where the old colonial farms have been long ago abandoned and have been deserted since. With that we also have a loggers camp from the very early 1900s and figured we would start digging there. With our Fisher and Teknetics machines we picked through all the junk until a Granite suspender co button was dug up. Awesome ! that along with the old tools and lumberjack related finds we were on it. Well the Granite buttons kept coming out of the dirt and wait till you see them all. We then followed the old cart path wagon trail until we got to an overgrown field where again buttons were found but these were more like early 1800s. Metal detecting spills are always great finds.

Boom let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Someone loose their clothes or what? What is with all the buttons in one area. Awesome button finds Dame & Wayne. Another great buttons find Charlie.
Good day. Enjoyed 👍
Great job guys, I can't wait till spring.
Good morning fellas 🌞
Those discs with nails were used to secure tar paper to poles driven into the ground to support the paper shell. In Northern Maine people lived in them through the winter.
Known as simplex nails
Rumor has it that some time in the first decade of the 20th century, there existed a band of bootleg lumberjacks operating in NH known as the "Iron Eights". Known primarily for the hand forged iron number 8s they left nailed to stumps and for their patronage of the granite coverall co.
Wayno's to infinity and beyond. Dames was certainly buttoned up this episode.
Good to see Waynos back !!
Thank you Charlie , Dame and Waynos for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds especially the buttons !
Awesome relic hunting!!
The heavy chunky iron Waynos dug in the beginning isa blacksmith hammer. A striking die of sorts I believe.. That hand forged 8 is very cool!! Definitely a keeper 👌🏻👍🏻
That 8 that y'all dug was a branding iron end
I found one of those flat number 8 things, in Mass, near the NH border. Looks exactly the same! I would love to know what it was used for. BTW, I just dug a colonial shoe buckle on our 1960's property! ( I detected our woods cuz I was bored Lol). You just never know! Love your channel! -Cathy 🙂
You pulled out all the stops
And a few references that show our age
Hilarious
Nice work fellas!
To Infinity and Beyond
Button up boys. Fun hunt as always. Thanks for sharing!!!
Dame has enough Granite buttons to put on a coat made for detecting. Great episode!
I always enjoyed it when Mr. Green Jeans and Dancing Bear showed up on the Captain Kangaroo Show.
Waynos for president!
What a pile Dame stumbled upon. Love the video😊
What a great day guy's !!! Eight skate, don't be late!
Nice tagging along for your hanging out and having fun together day. Overall button camaraderie.
I’m so glad that you said something about bone or cloth, because I was wondering if you had ever found a body/bones where a pioneer or hunter had died decades ago?? I figured you’d think I was morbid for asking!🤦♀️😱 Just wondering if you have to report it to the authorities? I’m guessing definitely!
Good morning guys, good luck on your metal detecting.
A pair of overhauls that I has 6 buttons , 2 snaps and zippered fly ! I do know that some has a button fly !
Great video as always. Thanks for sharing. 😊
"back to the button plug"
Yeah, glad to hear I'm not the only one.
I love a good button spill!!!
Has a metal detector i think pull taps are on the moon too. 😅😊
I appreciate your guys content, I do, but I can help but realize you guys don't seem to detect on the way to most homesites you go to I can tell you as a rookie detectorist that I have found abanded buries logging camps camping spots old activity is everywhere even the places people say " oh there isn't anything over there" found some crazy stuff in places that people doubters and haters said that stuff Happy hunting and detect every where.
In a hurry! LOL
Nice job Stealth Diggers. Rock on……❤️🙏🇺🇸
He found enough buttons to maka a shirt!
How ironic!
13 button sailor pants?
You're talking about mechanic style coveralls not bib overalls😊
Button fly coveralls
Would all of those overall buttons have been on a card like buttons today and the card of buttons lost.
What has become of Mr. Keebler.
Some overalls had button flys, perhaps a rotten pair left them close by. Nice adventure. 🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰
