Cali---as a Veteran liked the many comments by others about serving their country. Many did come back and over time, Many did not. But honouring one's country is important and our Eagle Pair is an important part of that tradition.
S & J seem to be not ready to give up this Nest season. Glad they are making more Nest decisions as a Eagle Pair. I tend to believe S is more thoughtful and , over time, is more persuasive over J feelings. She loves him and they are "so crazy in love' with each other--that is a very important of any long term Eagle(or Human) relationship. Happy to see both together on an important Commemorative Holiday such as Memorial Day. Thank You for posting.

As an Air Force Veteran, it does my heart good seeing our Eagles on a day that I truly honor my fallen sisters and brothers who proudly served our country. God bless this country, our Eagles and may we always remember those who gave all defending our freedom. Thank you Cali 🇺🇸🦅🦅

Over 15٪ of homeless are Veterans. Imagine putting your life at risk then coming home and not having the support promised when you joined. Homelessness is sad no matter who you are, but the govt should at least take care of those who've voluntarily and proudly served our country. I pray for my sisters and brothers who have lost limbs, sight, mental health and those who paid the ultimate price: loss of life. God bless and thank you all for your warm words

Freedom is not free; may we never forget those who gave their all that we may live free in this country. Thank you for keeping us reminded, Cali. It looked like a beautiful morning, I hope there were some good memorials for the day. On a side note, it looks like Shadow might have gone for a swim in the lake since his wardrobe malfunction was gone.

J.& S. have really been working so hard & long, just look at the nest, of the changes, the additional big twigs, & sticks piled so full!! I’m guessing, in time, they will begin bringing “ the fluff”, to make a comfortable soft bed in the middle of the nest like last winter? They are so fascinating, to watch, & incredible bald eagles! I never get bored or tired of seeing what they have done in a day , or just sitting on branches looking amazing! I love J.& S. like family!! ❤️🥰
