I love watching them just looking around, observing the sites, & sounds all around. Especially, when one hears the other one, from afar. That nest has increased with so many new sticks , it’s so full they have to lift their feet to walk . Lol. I’m wondering when they focus on adding & bringing the “ fluff” , that gives comfort to the nest ? Is that once Jackie & Shadow have eggs in the nest? I’m learning a lot by these videos, of the life of bald eagles. Thank you so much! I love these two as if they are mine. Lol. ❤. This winter will be a year that I have began watching them everyday. I sure pray they will have eggs , & They DO HATCH! 🙏🙏🙏

Maybe it looks like we may see another set of eggs soon. That would be nice. The weather is better now, and a better chance to see the eggs hatch.
Seems they only have a clutch in the deepest part of winter..?
Goodness. She is fertile only during a certain time of the year, which is the same time every year. There will be no eggs until then, which is Nov-Jan. Try to just enjoy their lives as it is, hoping for eggs all the time isn’t what it’s about.
God made us as well as the animal kingdom, and this is all part of His plan.
Eagles are most populous in Alaska, which is very very cold but obviously they not only survive but thrive in a cold environment.
Clearly Northern California is nowhere near that cold, so Jackie and Shadow chose to live and nest here for a reason. In other words, trust the eagles and enjoy their lives without wishing for eggs.
