@@hollowsid9623 Well, first, Majora Mask is waaay more later game (2000) opposed to Starfox (1993). Second, as far as i know Face on Moon was added to Majora in very late phase of development by designer Takaya Imamura, not by Miyamoto. Miyamoto was involved in developement of both games, but i dont think there is any connection between both "moonfaces"
Im 27 next month and i have amazing memories of being a kid playing this with my dad, my dad would always repeat in Peppers voice "good luck". The whole game had this outer worldly space vibe to it, no game has ever compared to the space vibes this one gave you.
The one thing that bothered me back in the days of this game was how come during the initial play thru everyone speaks simlish but at the end general pepper speaks audibly understandable
I loved this game StarFox... it's the reason why I'd buy the new Nintendo switch thingy... back in 1993 or 1994 this was my favorite game to play... StarFox all the way!!!
I finally beat this game on the hard path tonight. On my last life on my last continue. I was not able to keep any of my comrades alive in Venom stage 7 but I was more than happy to get the win over Andross regardless. That devil form Andross takes late in the fight is pure nightmare fuel and I couldn't believe he didn't shoot me down. The concrete pillars AND the fireballs filling the screen is really a lot.
I could only ever beat the standard path as a kid. I always found the game brutally difficult. Star Fox 64 on the other hand I got all medals on both normal and hard eventually.
I played this recently. Sector Z and its blocks really fucked with me but I somehow made it to the boss, and the boss killed me. It didn't feel like he should have been a hard boss, but I kept trying to shoot the little blasters going around the perimeter and could never quite line them up for some reason. I think I've gotten to Macbeth and died there before too.
Did you play this on real hardware? If so, could you please post the region code for your cartridge? I've been trying to understand if Starfox/Starwing games have english dialogues in all regions, thanks
wtf i just played the first lvl and it looked nothing like the first few mins of this vid. seriously it looked like a modern starwars space battle and on your vid it looks super tame. i don't get it O_o
Are you sure you weren't playing StarFox 64 or one of the StarFox GameCube games? This is Star Fox for the SNES. It's the very first one of the series.
dont take my word for it i never played star fox but isnt there an extra mission on astroid belt

Looks more like that big moon in Majora's Mask

What a trip down memory lane.
Fortuna has kind of a smooth, mellow sound to it.
Till you reach Dondoga. Man that bird was a pain. I thought I would never faced it again.....until Star Fox Zero

Australia: all the animals here want to kill you
Fortuna: Hold my beer
Ever since I was a kid I have always found Falco’s voice funny in this game.
"...dubdudu...dubdudut..."
"...Boobooboodabba..."
Loved this game
I could only ever beat the standard path as a kid. I always found the game brutally difficult.
Star Fox 64 on the other hand I got all medals on both normal and hard eventually.
Fortuna had some funky music
Aw snap Space Fox!
After all these years I never noticed there was a owl at the end of the game.
Never could beat the hard path. It was sector Z for me. All those blocks...

The Great Commander for me. The first fight is tough enough trying to hit him, but then all those bubbles on Venom
The music in this game scared me as a kid lol such a good game though
The one thing I loved about playing the snes version was if you wanted to kill falco you can
21:20 cookie
🍪 Planet!
General Pepper: Good Luck!

They shouldve just ran this game full-screen at lower resolution. If you use Zoom on your TV it always looks better even if your TV is 3 feet wide

Why does Stage 7 exist

Nah it's emulation but I do know it's an NTSC English (USA) version of the game.

Oh so it’s a hard game for someone who has a lot of time to spend alone:(
Peppy is disspointed!! not a single barrel Roll
I know it's cliche but I just had to say it: "Do a barrel roll!"
Wing commander much better
