there is a live video version of Dolly Parton filling in for Sheena singing this song with Kenny, its the greatest, they were the best of friends and joke around during the song and after, must watch, to good!!
She has the most beautiful skin, lips, eyes, hair and smile I've ever seen. honestly, she was born to shine and fill my eyes with the beauty of her smile. thanks
Bob Seger wrote it and charted it --- twice. Then Kenny and Sheena did this arrangement - for another hit. Love your reactions... keep up the good work.
Sheena Easton is a very tiny woman with a huge voice. She had a few hits in the early 80's including the Bond Theme "For your eyes only", Telephone and Morning Train. She still performs at festivals in her native Scotland and still has a beautiful voice.
around 1980 Sheena was trying to break through as a singer in Scotland, but failing. During that time the BBC made a documentary based around her. When it was broadcast, she became an overnight success.
Sheena Easton! One of the finest female vocalists, could sing pop, jazz, dance, R&B, Country.....! Also very underrated. She never oversings a song. Love her. Love Kenny.
Sheena Easton had a pretty amazing career of her own. She has a duet with Prince....yes Prince.... She's Got the Look. But if you want a duet to MELT YOU, see the live (I believe at the Grammys) version of You Don't Bring Me Flowers featuring Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand, two global icons.
Sheeeeeeeena, Easton....... yeah, 80's kid, that is all I got.... I am thankful for MANY things in my life.... but one of the things I am most thankful for is growing up in the 80's, drinking out of garden hoses, hanging with friends til the street lights came on, 3 guns in the window rack of my UNLOCKED pickup in the the high School parking lot, and of course.... the most amazing music ever... the last of the great generations IMO.... thank you 80's for blessing me so richly....
Kenny has a live version of this with Dolly Parton while they were on tour together circa 1982 (I think). You should definitely check that version out. They were great friends and had amazing chemistry
Sheena accomplished a rare feat in the 80s ... she was the only artist to have a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart, Billboard Hot R&B Singles Chart ("The Lover In Me" peaked at #5 on this chart in 1989) & Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart. This is actually a remake done in 1983. Original was done by Bob Seger (it peaked at #13 on the Hot 100 Chart in 1978; this version went to #6 on the Hot 100 Chart, #1 on the Hot Country Singles Chart & #2 on the Adult Contemporary Chart)
Since you love Kenny so much (You are not alone in that)... You need to check out Conway Twitty... Many, many babies were conceived to his music too... At LEAST as many as Kenny, if not more... Once you hear his voice, you will know why... It will be love at first growl... His duets with Loretta Lynn were LEGENDARY...
I was raised on Kenny Rogers and John Denver)... and there is no voice like Kenny's!!! Even when I was a pre-teen, I had a crush on him and sang all his songs. So many memories! 🥲 R.I.P. Kenny... you are missed!
Sheena Easton had some hits back in the day. One Being Sugar Walls written by Prince and not a song your mother would approve of...haha. Thanks for making a great start to a cloudy day.
Loved this and your reaction to it. Kenny Rogers was always such a gracious gentleman when singing duets with female greats like Sheena Easton or Dolly Parton, and others. Letting their vocals shine while he supported with his. Truly beautiful and sexy.
Hey! First one here! I remember when this first came out! Yes, I'm that old! 😂 Kenny Rogers was definitely a panty dropper! 😍 He was like 5'10".....so yea she's short. lol With the exception of the shoulder pads....I loved the 80's fashions! I was teenager in the 80's.....good times. RIP Kenny Rogers! 🙏
The one he did with Dolly Parton was good too. After this, Prince got hold of her and produced an incredible album called, "A Private Heaven ". It is very clear Prince had a hand in this album, just by lyrics alone.
This is such a wonderful duet. Originally written and recorded by Bob Segar (who sounds a little like a more rock version of Kenny). Another of Kenny's fantastic duets is "Don't Fall In Love With A Dreamer" with Kim Carnes. Her raspy voice complements Kenny's smooth delivery so well.
Kenny was the king of duets, so many great ones with so many other talented singers over the years. If you haven't seen it I'd recommend the version of Lady with Lionel Richie, who wrote it. Crazy good. Was blessed to see Kenny during his final tour.
Your man standing behind you, you wrapped in his arms just swaying back in forth, him whispering in your ears, and this playing, that how babies were made in the 80’s
When jazz was big Kenny played bass in a jazz band.......when folk got big he was in a big folk group.......then rock came along and he was Kenny Rogers and the first Edition......then country pop came along and there was Kenny on top of the charts once again.......Mr Versatile
Kenny is one of my all time faves , love his voice. Oh and let's take a minute and discuss how handsome he was before he had work done and his hair is 👌 silver fox !
Sheena Easton is 5'1". Born in Scotland, she is now 63. She is famous for this song and others including: "For Your Eyes Only" (Bond movie theme), "Strut", "U Got the Look" and other.
When this came out, I had a crush, we were in choir and she said she'd like the lyrics to it. Bought the 45 and played it again & again until I had all the words down. When I gave her my "lovingly(lustily)" transcribed notes... She said her mom had bought her the sheet music. "I knew her plans don't include me" Goodnight Marin, wherever you are.
Sheena Easton did a great duet with Prince ‘U got the look’ and Prince wrote and produced her song ‘ Sugar walls’ great song too. I leave you think about the meaning of that title ;)
When I was a young tween, my mom used to play his 8-track in the car and my sister and me would be rolling our eyes so hard. Little did I know how much he'd grow on me as I got older, lol. Great reaction!
She was phenomenal, check out For your eyes only from the James Bond soundtrack, and Sugar Walls and Strut (collaborations with Prince) which were huge hits for Sheena.
Love Kenny but Sheena’s my girl!! Loved her on Miami Vice 2! U need to react to her. She’s excellent! And both he’s tall and she’s tiny. She’s worked w/Prince as well. Their duet is one of my fav Prince songs
With all due respect to your husband, I think I love you. These reactions are the best, you never fail to make me smile. You have wonderful insight. Best regards from Indiana.
I went to a Kenny Rogers performance and sat 3 row from stage,. I tell you what,. He can perform and draw you in! Wonderful concert! His opening performers were Travis Tritt and also Sweetheart of the rodeo❤️❤️❤️. Well worth the 35$ ticket❤️❤️❤️
Sheena Easton had a amazing voice!!
Sheena Easton will be forever remembered for her Bond signature song „For your eyes only“!
Also "Morning Train"
Don't forget about "STRUT" She was hot in that video!
@@greg2976 Absolutely gorgeous, and that is one of my favourite 80's Pop songs. Also, "Sugar Walls" was an education . 😋
@@SilentBob731 👍. She was a 5 foot 1 inch hotty!😍😘 Just like Pat Benatar!!!!
No doubt 🔥🔥🔥
I love how Kenny Rogers does duets with women who have super-powerful voices, and he's still his cool, growly self.
Kenny was Old School Smooth!
What vocals!!!!!!
there is a live video version of Dolly Parton filling in for Sheena singing this song with Kenny, its the greatest, they were the best of friends and joke around during the song and after, must watch, to good!!
YES. DOLLY DID IT BETTER AND IT HILARIOUS
I know, Dolly lets out Who needs Sheena while singing!
Dolly and Kenny were SUCH good friends! ♥️
Sheena is a BEAST! The 80’s she was awesome!! We’ll still is! She did You Got The Look with Prince great video.
Dolly was great too!!
She has the most beautiful skin, lips, eyes, hair and smile I've ever seen. honestly, she was born to shine and fill my eyes with the beauty of her smile. thanks
Sheena has a good size catalog of music. Her first song "Morning Train" kicked down the door.
Sheena has PIPES!
There was and only ever will be one Kenny
Kenny Rogers with R&B soul that's because Lionel Richie and Kenny Rogers collaborated in many musical projects they were best friends
She still performs at festivals in her native Scotland and still has a beautiful voice.
she performs all over the US all th
OMG yes. @BrittReacts you need to do that song, fo sho!!!!!!
She lives in Vegas!
around 1980 Sheena was trying to break through as a singer in Scotland, but failing. During that time the BBC made a documentary based around her. When it was broadcast, she became an overnight success.
"How many of you were conceived by Kenny Rogers music?" - Britt asking the REAL questions
Pretty sure I was!
🤣
😂😂😂😂
🤣
I miss such great live performances.....
Sheena Easton! One of the finest female vocalists, could sing pop, jazz, dance, R&B, Country.....! Also very underrated. She never oversings a song. Love her. Love Kenny.

Sheena is from Scotland and has a heavy accent. I recall here appearance on Miami Vice when Don Johnson owned TV in the 1980s
Girl you need a TV deal, you are a natural...very bright, witty, charismatic, and easy on the eyes. Thanks for entertaining me!
Sheeeeeeeena, Easton....... yeah, 80's kid, that is all I got.... You get him. I appreciate you.
True talent no auto tune needed
Kenny has a live version of this with Dolly Parton while they were on tour together circa 1982 (I think). You should definitely check that version out. They were great friends and had amazing chemistry
It’s hilarious!
It was 1985!👍🎶
Country R&B, came out so long ago, yet still so revolutionary today
Sheena accomplished a rare feat in the 80s ... she was the only artist to have a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart, Billboard Hot R&B Singles Chart ("The Lover In Me" peaked at #5 on this chart in 1989) & Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart.

Kenny Rogers did so many incredible collaborations. Sheena Easton was a young Scottish Pop Star and they did just a great job together.
Sheena Easton's look was the definition of the times in the 80's.
remember seeing Kenny Rogers in New Zealand with the First Edition in the 70’s before his career really took off and he was just as mesmerising then 😍
Since you love Kenny so much (You are not alone in that)... You need to check out Conway Twitty... Many, many babies were conceived to his music too... At LEAST as many as Kenny, if not more... Once you hear his voice, you will know why... It will be love at first growl... His duets with Loretta Lynn were LEGENDARY...
Truth!
According to my mother, Conway for the win.
I love your love for Kenny. Girl, I'm right there with ya!
I was raised on Kenny Rogers and John Denver)... and there is no voice like Kenny's!!! Even when I was a pre-teen, I had a crush on him and sang all his songs. So many memories! 🥲 R.I.P. Kenny... you are missed!
he was definitely one of the greats
Sheena Easton had some hits back in the day. One Being Sugar Walls written by Prince and not a song your mother would approve of...haha. Thanks for making a great start to a cloudy day.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for reacting to this🙏
Kenny’s vibrato at the end? Classic Kenny! He was brilliant! 🤍
This is a duo I would never have expected. Great duet. Sheena was big in the 80s and early 90s.
Funny thing is Sheena Easton got famous off the Prince song U Got the Look and her song Sugar Walls. So to see her with Kenny Rogers is kind of funny.
If you can find it, watch the all-star tribute to Kenny after he passed away. The entire industry sang his songs
Sheena is a strapping 5'1" tall. Kenny was about 6'0" tall. But the two of them singing this together...wowza.
Sheena Easton also sang with Prince and at least two of the songs he wrote for her to sing solo got banned or strongly criticized for explicit lyrics.
I had such a crush on Sheena Easton in the 80s. When she sang 'for your eyes only' her eyes were piercing. Great song and lovely lady.
No auto tune no effects. Just talent.
I am blessed to have known a time of real music and real cinema.
kenny was a legend.
If Jonny Mathias and Willie Nelson had a child said Dolly Parton
Loved this and your reaction to it. Kenny Rogers was always such a gracious gentleman when singing duets with female greats like Sheena Easton or Dolly Parton, and others. Letting their vocals shine while he supported with his. Truly beautiful and sexy.
So grateful that my wife and I were able to have a front row seat at his concert back in the 80's. Kenny was a masterful performer!
got to see both of them live in concert, both put on a great show.
Another Classic Kenny Rogers Duet. R.I.P. Kenny Rogers ✌️❤️🙏🏿🙏🏿
That is Miss Sheena!! Powerful voice!
I saw Kenny in concert, he said that he was 6' , over 200 pounds and couldn't hit the deep notes that Richard of the Oak Ridge boys does.
This duet is a cover of Bob Segar's original, who also wrote the song.

Yes! You need to react to that!
One thing I liked about Kenny is he never strained, just sang effortlessly in that great voice of his.
Kenny teamed up with Home Free to do an accapella song. He was in his seventies and he still looked and sounded awesome.
Your man standing behind you, you wrapped in his arms just swaying back in forth, him whispering in your ears, and this playing, that how babies were made in the 80’s
I wish I had Kenny’s grace and swagger in my prime let alone at his age. Just a cool guy!
I’ve loved this song since I was a child.
Sheena Easton-The most underated singer ever!
When jazz was big Kenny played bass in a jazz band.......when folk got big he was in a big folk group.......then rock came along and he was Kenny Rogers and the first Edition......then country pop came along and there was Kenny on top of the charts once again.......Mr Versatile
Sheena Easton is the reason of the saying, Dynamite comes in small packages. Kenny is just Kenny. He is so good, he could make my singing sound good.
Sheena Easton has several great songs you should check out. I suggest For Your Eyes Only, Morning Train, and Sugar Walls
Maybe because I’m getting older I’m 53 but the talent and life as I remember it as a kid through my 20’s 1970-1999 was just a great time to be alive …
Kenny is one of my all time faves , love his voice. Oh and let's take a minute and discuss how handsome he was before he had work done and his hair is 👌 silver fox !
With how much you like Kenny, you really owe it to yourself to do a reaction to "Buy me a Rose".
BTW: Sheena is 5'1", and Kenny was 6 foot.
I was "in the time of Kenny". Saw him, live, spellbind a basketball arena. His duets were legendary.
Kenny had some of the very best duets
She's so tiny. Probably that's why she sang with Prince: U got that look.
Sheena Easton is 5'1". Born in Scotland, she is now 63. She is famous for this song and others including: "For Your Eyes Only" (Bond movie theme), "Strut", "U Got the Look" and other.
They both have great voices! When this song was released I was 20 yrs old.
She collab’d with Prince! “You Got The Look”
Sheena Easton did a great duet with Prince ‘U got the look’ and Prince wrote and produced her song ‘ Sugar walls’ great song too. I leave you think about the meaning of that title ;)
Thank you so much for your reaction. I play it over and over again. Thank you.
this performance was from 1983. Kenny and Sheena reunited in 2010 for a performance for We've Got Tonight. And they still sounded this good.
Kenny Rogers was a partner to some of the BEST duets in music history.
try the song she does with Prince "You got the Look"
When I was a young tween, my mom used to play his 8-track in the car and my sister and me would be rolling our eyes so hard. Little did I know how much he'd grow on me as I got older, lol. Great reaction!
Sheena Easton, another underrated voice
Kenny is great at harmonizing with others, he PREFERS to sing with others so he has some of the best duets in history.
Seen him three times in concert. Never and his opening acts were really wonderful. My wife caught his tambourine he threw in the crowd.
Sheena Easton is a Scottish singer who had a few big hits in the 80s
She’s got the Look
Sheena and Prince
May I suggest Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville "I don't Know Much"
I hope you react to Sheena Easton alone she had some great songs and a voice like an angel!
She was phenomenal, check out For your eyes only from the James Bond soundtrack, and Sugar Walls and Strut (collaborations with Prince) which were huge hits for Sheena.
The conceived by Kenny Rogers music had me laughing. I've had the pleasure of meeting Kenny years ago and it was unforgettable.
One of the best live songs in music history! But I fear there is bad news for you, Brit: Kenny Rogers has already died - but his music lives forever!
Kenny duet you should check out is called, "IF I EVER FALL IN LOVE AGAIN" and it is sung by Kenny and Anne Murray. React to the live version!!
You should have your own talk show --- wait, I suppose you already do. Great reactions -
I agree!👏🏽👏🏽
I'm old enough to remember when this was all new. Kenny helped this old boy out many a time in my woman-chasing days.
Two great singers dueting together how awesome.👍
Love Kenny but Sheena’s my girl!! Loved her on Miami Vice 2! U need to react to her. She’s excellent! And both he’s tall and she’s tiny. She’s worked w/Prince as well. Their duet is one of my fav Prince songs
With all due respect to your husband, I think I love you. These reactions are the best, you never fail to make me smile. You have wonderful insight.
Best regards from Indiana.
When you said Kenny's voice was pleasant for my ear holes I was rolling on the floor!
Kenny was one of a kind. I'm glad I grew up on his music. I feel honored. You need to react to King of oak street by Kenny Roger's
I love “I want to have been conceived by his music!!” TOTTALLY
I went to a Kenny Rogers performance and sat 3 row from stage,. I tell you what,. He can perform and draw you in! Wonderful concert! His opening performers were Travis Tritt and also Sweetheart of the rodeo❤️❤️❤️. Well worth the 35$ ticket❤️❤️❤️
I went to several Kenny Rogers concerts and each one of them was worth every penny I paid.
Ahhhh the memories. Sheena was a firecracker. What a voice she has. And with Kenny? Awesome & pure genius to pair them together.
