❤I really appreciate your videos that you’ve made for us to gain knowledge, I am a beginner of raising backyard hens and I’ve learned a lot from listening and watching your wisdoms about chickens…absolutely amazing work, I am very grateful! Thanks👍❤
Good one, guys and great shirts, as always ! I have a mixed flock that includes RIRs and they're delightful. Great layers and, knock on wood, the most healthy so far. I'm not really looking for anymore chickens right now, but I do love to see the breeds other people keep. Thanks !
RIR: great layers, nasty attitude (like my ex-wife🤣)! G.L Wyandotte: didn't impress me as a good layer, but may try again. Barred Rock: impressive. Living in North Central WV, I prefer the cold-hardy layers.
I couldn’t agree more about RIR, I don’t know your ex. They were hardy in our hot climate, as well as really nice layers. I just won’t be buying them anymore. I have Buff Orphingtons now. Such a nice chicken. With the exception of our hot Texas climate. They are finicky in our 110° summers. I keep saying I’m going to add AC to the coop, just kidding. We have found work arounds. They stand in cool trickling water all day and get cool water several times a a day. I freeze milk jugs and they lay up next to them. They are still laying well in our cold nights. I provide no artificial light.

We’re glad you’re enjoying them!
So informative this help me a lot for my self-sufficient farm when I'll be an adult. Thank you guys.
The Silver Laced Wyandotte is my favorite. They do well in Northern Michigan, and the rooster is so handsome!
Definitely love these series videos! Thanks!
Glad you like them!

I live off-grid and Wyandottes are my go-to bird for incubation and mothering, as I can't run incubators!
Which is my favourite? Glad you asked, Partridge Chantecler!!!
Great choice!
Yes ! I've been eagerly waiting for this one.
We appreciate your patience! 😁

@GeorgiasGarden Texas, hmm? Great, now I want to watch Lonesome Dove!🤣 If you know RIR, you know my Ex!🤣 Merry Christmas!
Could you one day show us your farm guys ?
We are thinking about doing that in the spring/summer.
@HobbyFarmGuys Yay that would be so cool. I'm sure you guys are amazing farmers.
How do you know which one, original or newer version?
Wyandotte lay small eggs. Beautiful birds but not for me. Reds are the best.
