Again, thanks for the video you gave me a little hope due to the trip trees in the area. I just ordered mine. Mine will be here by the end of of the week.

Nice I used the pole mount for my install too! Been using the gen3 for 2 weeks now and the speeds are amazing. No other decent internet providers where I'm at so this has really helped out.
@@StarLinkTec I got the early invite for standard service. I didn't have the gen2 but from what my neighbor tells me they are about the same. I average 100-200mbps throughout the day.
Thank you for providing this timely information about the newest version of Starlink equipment. It answered a few of the questions I had regarding the setup AND the optional pole bracket I was considering. You already know this I’m sure but your presentation of this information would have so much better if you had mounted the camera on a more stable base like a tripod or ladder. The camera movement really does detract from your otherwise good work.
Yes, this was done Christmas eve 30 minutes after it arrived, so it was a quick down and dirty post, we have been doing Starlink for over two years and deploy them for SAR and disasters. Please everyone, do subscribe so we can reach our minimum numbers to make the next level and bring more content to our viewers. Thanks for watching, Bruce.
the original mount was removed from Starlink, com shop and will be replaced contact Tim at Trioflatmount.com for their OEM pipe mount looks good waiting on one now
Due to the mount recall and delays to get the new one from SL, contact Tim at Trioflatmount.com for their OEM pipe mount looks good waiting on one now, please Subscribe for updates and more SL videos
Thanks, I was hesitant when ordering the pipe mount, glad I did not order it. Yes, that does look shallow and also having one side to pinch the CMT or similar pipe would probably not be sufficient to withstand a strong gust.
i have a question if someone can please answer it if i bought a starlink divce from the U.S but i haven't used it or subscribe to it can i take it and use it in Germany ? and dose it come with a subscription plan ? and if it come with a subscription plan can i take it and use it in Germany without any problems???
Sorry for late reply you have to register in the country it is to be used with a address in that country, most likely you will have to get a new plan , you will have to transfer it and then use the kit number to take it over when release. lets us know how you make out
I just received my new Starlink. Also purchased the Ridge Line Mount. Didn't know I needed the Pipe Adapter kit... also, what do I use for a mast to connect my ridge line mount to the pipe adapter kit? Thanks
Not sure? did you get the wall mount from SL, if so you do not need the pipe mount you have it all. UNLESS you got an aftermarket J pole type, then yes you need a pipe mount good luck Bruce
I was able to touch base with Starlink support. The new Gen 4 dish is not compatible with the Ridgeline Roof Mount kit. It does say that on the accy page but I didn't catch it. They were very helpful and refunded my purchase cost for the accy. @@StarLinkTec
The current pipemount is being replaced. I called it 2 weeks ago when I originally reviewed the starlink Gen. 3 that the pipe mount was not very well-designed. They have replaced it and done a recall. Anybody that has ordered one will be getting a replacement. You should have an email by now. When you're ordering, make sure you're selecting the Gen. 3 dish at the very top of your ordering page to get the equipment for Gen. 3.
Just open your account, open SHOP then at the top click Not your starlink CLICK HERE, then click the Standard dish with the Kick Stand. It will take you to the standard system items, the picture is a GEN 2 ??? but your in the right place, look for Standard Pipe Mount . Not stupid at all. yes I believe so, go to 192.168.100.1 to log into it, BUT it is limited and I have not tried it on GEN 3 antenna , if you have a friend that can load APP on there's try that, If you need to change your password after, BUT I think they will be able to see the alignment without the password?
We used 4 ViaSat antennas in 2018 for the NC flooding and they were a waste of money and time, two of them at one location never worked and the other two were 8-10 mbs , they new that the coverage was overloaded but keep selling more. Cost us a lot of money and ViaSat was the worst company we had ever had to work with, they need to sell off there spectrum to Starlink. Rant over. Thank You for your comment please consider subscribing and hit the notification button to stay up to date, Bruce
It depends on use the new standard is in theory better service but you have to align it, if your up on roof or pole it is a bit harder. Also the Ver 2 is no longer sold in USA by Starlink but check Best Buy if needed
I hate to sound stupid but can someone please give link to where I can purchase a pivot mount for my UTA-232 Starlink dish ? Even a part number would help .
The starlink mounts are in the shop section, make sure you select the correct antenna to find the right unit. There are a lot of after market mounts on Esty and Ebay as well
500 dollar for the equipment and they don’t even send a technician to install this for you. No thanks !! I would only use starlink for tv roaming or a rural connection with no other options.
It really is only ideal for rural situations. I love mine and I also love the fact that I could install it myself. To each, it's own. It's a great system, it's expensive, but totally worth it. At least in my situation.
NO it can not and that is a loss but cost is the SL concern , they should have offered it as an option even if higher priced, for the people and commercial users were its needed if mounted high and hard to reach??
@user-yy7mw7ey2n The older design antenna had an internal pan and tilt mechanism so it would adjust itself to align to the satellites instead of you doing it manually.

Stupid question: Can I use a wifi laptop instead of a wifi enabled smartphone for dish alignment? (I'm really old school and don't use a smartphone)

None go with standard internet unless your roaming or in a rural area with out any other option.
Just tell us how we can get a gen 3. Everyone still trying to get rid of gen 2 stock.
You have to order it as a Rome/mobile service for now , if your use is home get a Gen 2

What mount is used for this type to mount it on a pole
the wall mount is best and clamp it to the pipe the actual pipe mount is sub standard with shallow clamping area check our pipe mount video thanks
Good job tnx from iraq
What is the price of third generation?
500 to 600 dollars
Account for Starlink per Total Packet (100G)or per Month (10 £) .
For one box set of Starlink Gen3,V4 Sattel ,How much .
Is that mount available from starlink
yes it is and many aftermarkets are better
What's the download, upload speed
Speeds on Standard Version 4 are about 10 to 30 mbps faster down and 5 mbps up. so better but not a game changer.
@@StarLinkTec ok. Ty for the honesty. Guess I'll still use my phones hotspot to game.

When you order a tv do they send technicians to install it first you? Did a technician install your ROKU for you?😂
