Ah guys, watching this makes me regret having left Malaysia. I could very well imagine that you guys go to Taiping. That is a real great place. I also like Kuala Kangsar a lot. Have fun.
I'm Ipoh Mali. This is how someone from Ipoh would identify oneself. It basically translate to "I came from Ipoh". Welcome to my hometown 😁. Glad you spent 2 months in Ipoh although it's also unfortunately during MCO. Did you tried the addictive Cendol that Greg and Jumi can't get enough of? Haha
Thanks for sharing this. Ipoh is my hometown but I live in Europe. I’ve been missing home as it isn’t easy to travel back due to Covid. So watching your videos gives me that chance to in a way visit my home country again. God bless you in your future travels.
Malaysia has the most beautiful skies I have ever seen. Hard to describe. And! Rainbows are common after or in the middle of passing rains. Simply breathtaking.
I was born n grown up in Ipoh until I was 19 years old, I lived across the road to Where u bought bean sprouts chicken. I hv eaten the foods that u mentioned throughout my childhood in Ipoh , but I haven’t been to several locations that u visited. I begin to miss Ipoh after watching your video. Seems like u people r more “ Ipoh “ than me!
This video randomly showed up in my feed today. This place looks amazing. Hopefully I get to visit this place in the not too distant future. I think it’s very easy to put on a lot of calories while you’re there
Your videos are the best in Malaysia. I have seen many videos but don't find information on what I was looking for. Once I found your videos and after watching I am very satisfied that explains by the details. Thanks and keep it up. My Idea to go and live few months in Malai. and have my own experience!
1. Ipoh should be considered for anybody thinking of retiring in Malaysia. Prices are lower than KL. It's not busy. But it has nearly all the services and facilities of a major city. 2. To the west lies Pangkor Island. To the east, Cameron Highlands. And there are frequent rail services to Penang and KL. You're not isolated. 3. I would recommend the retiree settle into a gated community. Get a small car. And join some club.
It seems that both of u seem to be always lucky to stay in "paradise" during lockdowns 👍😉... During the first lockdown you were stranded in Cameron Highlands 😀... and then Penang, this time in Ipoh, both "food paradise" 😀
At minute 11:33, the highest peak of the mountain (centre, slightly left), that is the 2nd highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia called Mount Korbu. It's 2,183m, 4 metres lower than the highest peak at Mount Tahan (2,187m)
It has been a while since the last video! Both of you looking absolutely glowing! I actually wanted to sign up for the SUP but now I have second thoughts! Love the apartment and with that amazing view, is worth every cent!
U should ask the locals what is a must to order for dim sum eg siew mai and har gao. I admire how adventurous you are in tryong different activities and food. Enjoy & stay safe.

Hey welcome to Perak . I'm from Ipoh and I'm glad you both enjoyed Ipoh and the food it has to offer. Stay safe and have fun wherever you're heading to next.
Wow! You have visited and tried more places and food than me in Ipoh as ex Malaysian who migrated to Europe. Good recommendation and I’m sure will follow your recommendations for my next visit to Ipoh. Tq!
Welcome to Ipoh, a relatively slow pace city in Malaysia. Not much attractive tourism spots around Ipoh, but certainly the local food are great to try. Enjoy your next destination!
Don't pretend you know all about Ipoh while can't even answered my simple question! Perhaps you know only eating but no sense of knowing the changes of Ipoh from then to now. In such, remain silent is the best solution for people like you.
You guys can try ""Teluk Intan" where the iconic Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan (Malaysia version of Pisa Leaning Tower) located. Enjoy your stay here, stay safe and take care.

I have been staying in Ipoh for over 20yrs but this video still is worth watching.I hope next destination u can travel to Sitiawan town also in Perak n visit Lumut seaside where the Navy is base there.
Being an ipoh-born nd bred lady, i hv not visited any of those tourist attractions u've been to. Tq for ur wonderful videos. If i were to guess, i think u would probably be going to Lumut nd Pangkor Island, next. There's d Kelly's Castle nd wonderful foods otw to Lumut, dried seafood stalls nd plenty of seafood restaurants and beautiful beaches in Lumut. A short boat ride will take u to Pangkor Island with more beautiful beaches nd sailing activities there. Hope u hv a great time there.
I have done several trips to KL and got some great pictures but every time I go, the air is real bad for landscape shots from the KL Tower or the Petronas Tower. I did enjoy the people, the food, and the city. From Chiang Mai.
A very well done video edition on Ipoh. 👍👍👍 I enjoy watching as much as your stay of two months. When in "Lost World of Tambun", did you miss out the natural hot springs body dip or was it closed due to Covid? This is the best part of it in Tambun to both residents and visitors alike. 😘💦👍
Damn. Ipoh used to be a very2 cheap place to live and popular for retirement. But $600 dollars for an apartment that is like 2500 in ringgit. No longer cheap I guess.
thank you for showing me all these places. I'm a Malaysian and the only thing I usually do when visiting Ipoh are having Dim sum at the Foh San restaurant and Ipoh Chicken Rice. Now I know there are many beautiful places that i can take my family to visits. Its hilarious as though im the visitor (foreigner) and you are the locals 😂
Should try all the numerous natural seasonal fruits ! They are so delicious !. Tropical warm sunshine:- fresh oxygenated air , Vit. D, nitric oxide and great healthy living environment free of charge all year round !.
Thank you for pronouncing it correctly. Some pronounce it as 'eye-poh', and was really stubborn about it. Happy to hear enjoy your stay in Ipoh. 😂I drove to Ipoh, once, just to buy the famous butter cupcake from the late Madam Nancy Chong, and drove back to KL, within the same day. Total of 5 hours drive 😅
My very first date with my now wife was to eat dim sum (which I had never had before). Luckily, she is of Chinese descent and knew exactly what to order. SUP is definitely a lot harder than it looks, takes good balance and lots of core strength. Those peacocks are such divas, don't want to take direction. LOL
U guys enjoyed your first stay in Cameron Highlands. Have u heard of Fraser's Hills, Bukit Tinggi n Genting Highlands, a themed park? All these r lovely cool places but not like Cameron Highlands with tea, veg n fruit plantations..D roads to these places r either from Perak to Cameron Highlands n from Selangor to Fraser's Hills, Bukit Tinggi n Genting Highlands.
