the copyright thing: in US it is not allowed to record a cover without the permission of the copyright holder. but TH-cam has a deal with the songwriter's associations so covers are allowed on YT. YT pays the royalties to songwriters so the cover artist gets less money for views. The songs are detected automatically and the channel owner is notified.
I'm in the middle of the replay of this wonderful livestream ... IMHO it is better without background music, somehow my mind stays then nicely on the song that just had been played, but after the song there should be some applause, some noise, just what makes you feel good 👏👏👏

Watching again...really a wonderful performance and welcome back. So many beautifully played songs. "Love Affair" was as good as it gets,...."Weekend in New England" (my favorite Manilow song) but the Korean song translated for us as (I hate you) was remarkable. Here is a song (as you described for us) an upbeat, disco type song and you decided (on a whim, it seemed) that you would play it in a bossa style to match it with the next song. The result was genius, a performance worthy of a Jobim masterpiece! How do you do that?!?! That was simply amazing!
I guess I should expect that by now. For years, I have appreciated your extreme musical versatility.

Last night Sangah begins lby saying that his body feels strange, "weird" exactly, only mentioning it because they appears as symptoms of fatigue. And then he does a fantastic recital, that we listened . Hope, for his health she rests deeply. I wait for the streaming of the 2/11, then my vacation will come.It's good to hear your "Memory of Spring" at the beginning, such a beautiful song!

Hoping you feel better soon Ben. I've been little off kilter myself lately.
A great livestream with Sangah playing and singing. Jet Lag? Nah, didn't really slow her down. We heard Fab Sangah, Motown Sangah, Jazzy Sangah, Sangah Sinatra, Bossa Noona and quite a few Burt Bacharach songs. Its hard to pick a highlight because they were all highlights, but I really liked the Steely Dan cover "Do It Again" and her slowed down version of "One Fine Day". For the songs without vocals, I loved "I Second That Emotion" Thanks Sangah. It was a great 3 and a half hours.
Sorry missed this. For some reason I didn't get a notification. Anyway had errands to run so I'm part of "Team Replay". Not the best, but it's the next best thing for missing the session though. Hello to Sangah, welcome back to DC and to Bubuji's paws ;) Hello to SF out there too : D
