I am subscribing and praying you posted Live Paint and everything about Illustrator that is tricky. You have a beautiful relaxing voice & pacing of speech; what a gift you have. (You sound like the airline pilots when its time to land. Relaxing! You could have made a living as a radio show host w/your own show,...super soothing voice. I NEED to learn illustrator, but will be watching your videos to RELAX. You're obviously a digital illustrator who is very comfortable with Ai & cares enough to cover the stuff with thought & preparation to not confuse students one little bit...this is a true rarity. The quality of my graphic design projects are of the utmost importance to me & you just rescued one single-handedly. Thank you for caring as much as you do through preparation, thoroughness, and presentation that is w/o obstacles (loud music, unclear/unannounced pulling of tools, quick-pacing of a pro, etc). I give you a 10/10...not easy;I taught computer classes, am a dedicated straight-A student my whole life so I am critical of education lessons when they are so talented at confusing motivated me. Bravo! Bravo Nikolai!

Great video! You explained all the problems I faced and solutions for them: working with mesh as with a rectangle and removing hidden points by anchor tool.
    Thank you a lot!

Thank you, this is something I've looking for forever .... finally I know how things work with gradient mesh and I think I can utilize it in a better way. I used to keep away from this tool because for me it looks messy and unexpected. Thanks a lot.

@@nlokteff Yes, please do! You present the information in an easy to understand and engaging way. I've revisited your tutorial today and followed along. I must say that the results are remarkable! Just trying now how to figure out how to render the end parts.
I wonder if you would have other gradient mesh tutorials that would delve into making more complex images, like faces and cars. Thanks!
