I teach teenagers too, Mexico, China, Austria...and they are all the same - I can so relate to everything you said! Subscribed! Due to Covid it's all online now but that's OK too. I hope schools reopen in Austria soon.

Hello!! I really liked your video. Good tips!! I have a question, which is the platform with which you give classes? I would like to try it, I see you can move pictures and show them mini videos and write words like if it was an interactive board. Thanks!!

I used to love working for Waijiaoyi, such a pity that in a time of financial difficulty they turned to lying and exploiting their teachers. Many teachers still haven’t been paid for over six months of work. So sad.

that's my class. I teach English to 8th graders, the most boring and hostile class in the world. I am afraid when I am about to present the class. but I appreciate your suggestions

playback speed x1.5 to have a normal speaking speed. She doesn't have to speak so slowly in this video, it's not for students, but for teachers, who should be fluent.

An online class mostly means one by one or a small group of learners. How about for crowded classes in which the teacher is far away from them all?

I would recommend teaching teenagers like one would teach a college course, but with lower expectations. And, do NOT play the question and answer game. Teenagers will ask you questions (personal and otherwise) to the very end of time. Finally, pray.
