A few pointers when considering mosfet
    1. Make sure there are no voltage/current bottlenecks in your circuit, i.e. wire gauge, connector terminals, points of solder connections. Jefftrons use automotive class mosfets so the gate threshold voltages are relatively high. Voltage sag can cause your mosfets to operate near threshold voltages (Vgs) causing your rds(on) to increase exponentially essentially disapating heat through the fet instead of the load.
    2. Make sure ur battery is appropriately charged, for the same reasons above.
    3. Make sure you use a high discharge battery if you are using a high torque build again for the same reasons above.
    4. Polarity
The duty cycle of a mosfet is by far greater than any other component in a blaster if correctly installed they should never burn out.

I would love to see a video on what T piece & nozzle to use when fitting MK v2 to SLR receiver.

how can i determine my leviathan is totally fried.. i had a few issues and the tech had fiddled around with it enough that it doesn’t even turn the motor anymore.. there is a bluetooth signal to my phone and switch and trigger status is still apparent. could it be classified as fried even though some functions are still operating?

Couldn’t tell you sorry bro, I’d ask Jefftron and see what they think

Really depends whats gone wrong with the control unit. Since your still getting bluetooth connection i'm assuming the microcontroller is still functional.
The next component that usually goes in the control unit is the Mosfet itself. The switching mosfet, which is normally a n-channel mosfet will permanently close the circuit when the substrate is destroyed. You can check this by checking the voltage across the motor terminals
If it remains at 12v while the trigger mechanism is is not closed or connected then its confirmation that atleast 1 of the mosfets is fried.
You can replace these mosfets for around $5 if you are familiar with reflowing surface mount components to a pcb, just make sure you use a logic level mosfet and one that is similarly spec'd to the original.

What is it about the HSG tappet that you feel it's such a step forward for the hobby?

Looks like the guy who designed it really looked at the timing part of the tappet tail. From what I can see it’s only pulling the tappet plate back just enough to feed a gel, then holds it just long enough. Unlike the the gen 9 style which is just overkill, v2 airsoft tappet plates need modifying sometimes.
To me it looks like the person that designed it really understood the small details in timing etc

Did you end up getting a refund on the Jefftron AB unit man?

I removed the mosfet and rewired it as a stock trigger assembly.

@@hiroshimascreamer5884 ahhh. Didnt bother contacting them for a refund? I was under the impression they have a fairly lengthy warranty.

      @@_ryandowling 2 reasons I didn’t
      1. Couldn’t be bothered lol
      2. I needed to test out those bushings with the CNC box for MK as they were a prototype with a prototype
