    Only joined the party when you were infilling the basement block walls, so nice to see the lead up to that . Looking forward to your new year.

    Great recap! You've gotten a lot done in a year and I think the most impressive may be the small Morton building tear down and rebuild! Have a Happy New Year!

    Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I mean that has to be the biggest honeydo project of 2024 lol. You are blessed to have such a wonderful family both immediate and extended helping you, along with all your friends. Now, one request for 2025 trail cams. I bet you have a ton of critters and birds that will show in the spring. Looking forward to 2025. Be well. Your friend from Virginia.

    Just now finding your account. Absolute gold, because it’s not some unpractical log cabin that will not be used but rather a (future) full house for your family. Do you have any videos, books, etc about price breakdown, how to build in this hybrid-style you’re building in, or anything like that? I would love to build an affordable house like this and can do it myself by hand, it is just hard to find the in-between of a simple off grid log cabin and a massive luxurious house that costs $500k+. Thanks for all of your time spent on these videos, future generations thank you!

      Very much appreciated, thank you!! 🙏 I don’t have any how-to video/books. I’m learning as I go and am not an expert in the field, but as I gain more experience down the road it may be something I do a little more of.

    It is good to see all this because I didn't find you until just before you took the cabin apart. I have a question how many times in a given episode do you think your camera tips over? LOL just an observation, I wish I could work half as fast as you are in this video.. but then again maybe not maybe not or I would get accused of half fast work.😂

    • @DemasiLogCabin
      @DemasiLogCabin  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      3 times an episode, probably set the camera up 60-70 times a week, so that isn’t too bad a percentage! Haha

    Happy New Year!! (almost), so how did the thatch,grass roof hold up? Best of luck, can't wait to watch the progress!!

    • @DemasiLogCabin
      @DemasiLogCabin  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The roof held up well, but only weeds grew last summer, we will see what happens this next year.

    I was wondering about the build process. Can you explain why you built the walls and the trusses, and then took the walls apart to build the foundation? Also, how will you get the trusses up? Can you get a crane to the sight? Thanks for the great content!
