    AMAZING! MAgical gear and destination. Jealous beyond words, thanks for sharing.
    Do the "double boiler" trick (deep-ish pot, filled with water that comes up 1/2 to 3/4 of the can of chili) with your chili then you dont burn the chili (raviloi, DintyMoore Stew...) and you have hot water for cleaning your few utinsels.
    Did you bring your fly rods?
    Congrats!👍

    Great video! Who makes the bike rack you're using? That's a lot of weight on the hitch mount.

    • @EpicAdventuresOffroad
      @EpicAdventuresOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! And the rack is a no name rack that I took apart and welded new supports into and beefed it up a good bit. I wouldn’t have wanted to carry this bike without a good strong rack. Mototote makes a great rack if you’re looking to do something similar.

    Great video!
    Serious question here, why not take smaller lighter bikes if your “trailering” them an not riding on the road?
    Not being sarcastic or rude seriously just curious 🧐.
    I love the Adv and dual sports and the 2 strokes all equally myself.
    I just prefer picking up the lighter bikes when I have a choice lol.
    Looks like a fun trip!
    Cheers

    • @EpicAdventuresOffroad
      @EpicAdventuresOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree completely! Lol. We’re just using the bikes we have for the time being. Ideally I’d like to have a KTM 500 for all the trails, and to go on the truck, but still be able to go on the street for a little run down to a restaurant or something. But for now, I only own the 1290, so that’s what I take for these trips. Thanks for watching!

    What motorcycle carrier is that? I have a 22' R1250-GS, and looking to get back into a third Gen Cummins, but wanting a carrier such as yours so i can free up bed space. Thanks mate!

    • @EpicAdventuresOffroad
      @EpicAdventuresOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! I built that rack up from a cheapo that I was given and reinforced it all with stronger steal. If you want an out of the box option, check out the mototote carriers, they’re stout!

  • @mattyr987

    What rack are you using? Is it something that you'd recommend or would you go with a different bran or set up? Thanks

    • @EpicAdventuresOffroad
      @EpicAdventuresOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a cheap no name rack that I cut apart and rebuilt with stronger parts. I do fabrication for a living so it was pretty easy for me to do. But if you want to buy one that’s already good to go, I would get the mototote carrier. Those are really nice!

    • @Cobra-vw3hm
      @Cobra-vw3hm ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EpicAdventuresOffroad Thanks for the suggestion. I was wondering about them. It sounds like you've had a chance to put your eyes on it. Since you fabricate I figure you would know.

    what model duramax is that? and having owned and driven both what are the pros and cons between them? Only asking because I am between both the trucks

    • @EpicAdventuresOffroad
      @EpicAdventuresOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That Duramax is an 03 LB7. Honestly was/is a great truck. I did a bunch of work to that one as you can see if you look back on the channel. After I rebuilt everything and put a built transmission in it, that truck was super solid. The only reason I really like the Cummins truck better is because I have a much beefier front end with a solid axle. It will perform much better off road than the IFS on the Chevy. Otherwise there’s not a lot I would say is better from one truck to another. They’re both good trucks and have little things you have to work with. But what vehicle doesn’t.
