I made the tool out of a piece of 1/4" paneling. It's been a lifesaver for festivals at which glass is prohibited. It's a fantastic idea for vodka, because it's self-sterilizing and self-cleaning! Thanks for the idea, George!
Thanks for the vid! These bags are great for camping, fill them up with water then freeze, keeps food cold and when they thaw out you have water to drink!
Made a tool like yours George out of a piece of plastic chopping board. I found warming the tap a little made all the difference too. The 'POP' the tap was off ! So just cleaned 3 bags, and left some sterilizing fluid in a thin layer. Now waiting for the latest batch of home-brew beer to ferment 🙂 Cheers

I dry my bags be putting a tube from an aquarium air pump in the bag, mine dry in 4 to 6 hours.

I use a wide flat blade (common) screwdriver. Half a turn, the plug pops up and then just pull and it comes out.

The inside will dry out if you put it in the refrigerator, with the valve out.
