I wish I would’ve started braidlocs sooner also I put the braids in my hair twice & took them out finally about 6 months later I put them back in for the third time but I didn’t take them out I could of been further along I am 1 year & 7 months loc’d now tho enjoying every moment of freedom
Your locs look amazing 😉! The shape and style are bomb 💣... makes me want some but I’m still contemplating because that’s a big commitment and your other video on why not to do it stands out because I have at least 2.5 reasons why not too...
No not at all, most loctitians actually advise against coloring your hair for at least a year after getting them as to not interfere with the locking process. They are not difficult to care for at all especially not in comparison to loose natural hair. I wake up and go. Then every two months, I retighten which does take a couple of days.

I wanted to do this style but people are telling me it difficult to take care of it and you must color your hair to avoid damage, is it true?
