- Day 2 of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's two day Avalokiteshvara Empowerment given at his residence in Dharamsala, HP, India on May 30, 2020. The first day is the preliminaries to the empowerment, the second day is the actual empowerment.

You turn yourself into an active agent of change, because now it matters.

Could someone transcribe some of the mantras that we had to repeat ?
"Om mani padme hum" is the main one, of Avalokiteshvara (a.k.a. Chenrezig). "Om svabhavah shuddhah sarva dharma svabhavah shuddho ham" is the emptiness one (within the view of which one arises as Avalokiteshvara). There were several others I don't recall off the top of my head, but perhaps someone else will have them. These two are the ones that I find myself using most often. All the best!
P.S. - forgot one. "Om ah ra pa tsa na dhi" is for Manjushri.

What is the ultimate philosophy of life: Do unto others as you expect others to do unto you. This was preached by Krishna of the Yadava tribe (to which I belong) and followed by subsequent prophets, Buddha, Jesus etc. Islam preached to cultivate Iman, meaning compassion, kindness etc.
