I think this is the best MCU music I've ever heard for many reasons because this is the most perfect Cap music they could make, it has it all. To a new theme that is divinely to the character, it still takes up the theme of Winter Soldier taking up its espionage part and finally takes up the theme of the first Cap film with pure American tones without modern rhythms like the initial part Which obviously is a pure coincidence though the story of Captain America ends right back at the dance between Cap and Peggy in 1945, ending where it all began.
This is probably one of the best closing credit sequences out of the entire MCU, the light blaring thru the symbols of the characters, the music and the cracked stone and stuff. Its soooo good
Nah, he's shot by Crossbones and a brainwashed Agent Carter ; Bucky wants revenge and blames Stark but the latter had a Letter from steve telling that even if he surrendered, they still needed a Cap around so Buck' agreed to take the mantle. Steve's body was dead but his spirit or some other bullshit was preserved and his mind went through time and space until he could regain his body. Comics! In the MCU they could have use Dr. Strange as a End credits scene with, i dunno, a Tony Stark going to ask him to revive Steve who would come back in the Infinity Wars but until then we'll have Bucky cap for some movies (As Sebastian Stan has to be in 6 other movies)

I like this piece more than anything else in the soundtrack! This piece represents the movie as a whole. It shows that CW is a sequel to TWS and A:AoU, by adding elements from both soundtracks! And that makes it the second best theme in the MCU.
The slander and the disrespect when they used this theme during the truck fight with Walker in FATWS! Not gonna lie, I was ecstatic on hearing the theme itself but the fact that it was for Walker's Cap instead of Steve's Cap just pissed the hell out of me.
I was bugged at first too, but the theme represents the mantle not just Walker specifically. Maybe he'll get his own dreadful music if he does go down a darker and antagonistic path.

What makes this track so amazing is how Henry Jackman took parts from his own past themes in winter soldier, danny elfmans spiderman theme, brian tyler's iron man 3 music, and alan silverstri's avengers cues, and a bunch of original themes as well all in one soundtrack.
the second half is almost a full quote of taking a stand before going back to civil war's theme i think it's meant to be a case of book ends and thematic tie in because this is the last movie in the cap trilogy

The Stark Knight Returns At the end of the day Cap could have killed Tony if he wanted to but he wasn't fighting to kill he was just trying to protect Bucky. When he broke his mask with the shield he could have killed him but he just damaged his arc reactor.
They could've killed each other, but Tony was only trying to kill Bucky. There were no winners, only losers.
