I'm wondering how much time you had to spend in Cesme beaches if you started the drive from Istanbul in the morning. 2. Could you see any places in Izmir or was it just a stopover place to rest? I'm thinking of skipping Izmir and just staying in Cesme and head to Ephesus next day from there. 3. Antalya would've taken 3 nights no? Arrive from Fethiye. Night 1. Day 1- Suluada island, Night 2. Day 2- Beach and Old town. Night 3. Day 3- Leave to Capaddocia. I'm finding it difficult to understand how you spent only 2 nights in Antlaya and did so many things 4. Did you think of skipping Ankara on the way back? is it worth to stop there?
Hi Swetha, sure, happy to! 🙂 1) It was 6 hours long drive. We arrived there around 2 pm and spend the whole afternoon on the beach and walked around the neighborhood behind the beach and then we walked around the town which is very beautiful. 2) Izmir was a stopover place for us. We wanted to get closer to Ephesus. Izmir is a big city, Cesme is small and cute and I liked it more. So if you can, spend a night in Cesme, I wish I would have. 3) Yes, you are correct, it was 3 night, I just checked our booking.com history and we spend there 3 nights, not 2. Sorry for the confusion. 4) We drove, so it was on our way from Cappadocia to Istanbul. I personally wanted to see the capital and it was nice. There are 2 main points of interest - the caste with the old town and Anitkabir where you learn a lot about Tthe urkish history. I really enjoyed the visit and I would go again. But only if I had 14 days and more to spend in Turkey. If I had only 12 days, Ankara would be the first thing I´d leave out. Hope it helps! Kristi

Also the inflation in Turkey is crazy, so the prices will be completely different now. Anyways, the sooner you book the car, the better price usually ☺️. Hope it helps at least a littlw bit ☺️

Hi there, we found all the hotels on booking.com ☺️ but be aware that booking.com is blocked in Turkey so you need to book your stay before leaving to Turkey or vis VPN in Turkey. We stayd in many places and really good one was the Balloon Cave Hotel in Capppadocia, this one I can recommend ☺️. We didn’t go with local guide, so unfortunately, I cannot help you here, but there are many facebook groups with Turkish guides ☺️ have fun in Turkey! ❤️
