Thank you for watching this *Turkey travel guide* and if you are traveling to Turkey, have a great trip! 🙂
Can you list down your expenses all the way from flights to the end of your trip. It would really help us.
@@obaidullahkhan8133 Hi, I would love to, but honestly I will not be able to remember it all, it has been a year since I have been there. Most importantly, Turkey has big inflation, so prices will be completely different from what we have paid a year ago. Also flights are more expensive now than they have been a year ago and it really depends from where you are flying.

Nicely described in a short blog 🎉🎉.

Hi Kristi. Looks like a wonderful trip, thanks for the great info. Could you share the car rental company you used, and if you had any issues? Thanks!
Hi, sure, it was called Wish (the yellow logo is shown in the video at the beginning) and we had no issue what so ever. I can only recommend it! ☺️ Thank you, happy the video helped ☺️🙏🏼
Love the details in the video. What time of the year did you guys visit?
Thank you so much! We went in July and it was super hot ☺️ I would recommend rathe May/June or September ☺️
Hi. Very nice video. What video camera did you use? Thank you
Hi, thank you so much! ☺️ I shoot everything with iPhone 14 Pro Max, drone DJI Mini 3 and I use GoPro for underwater shots.
Thanks for sharing we are planning to go exactly as yours. Did you rent the car for the whole trip? (like pick up from Istanbul-and drop off in Istanbul) Or have you drop the car off somewhere else?
Hello ! We planned the itinerary according to your road trip. Thanka lot for this informative video. Could you help me from which place or company tou took the rent a car ?
Congratulations,
You probably managed to fit so many places in this short vacation that even one thousandth of Turkey's population could not travel. 🙂
Hi, thanks! It is a way how to see the most of Turkey with limited number of vacation days but still in a good pace ☺️
Good
Thank you! ☺️
Súper delicioso
This vlog is very refreshing ! You should say how much the trip costed in total for every vlog, how much was it for Turkey ?
Hi, thank you so much! ☺️ I usually share costs of certain activities and entrance fees, because the total trip cost can be very different based on the accomodation, food, etc. that people choose. But good to know, I will think about how I can share costs more. Thank you for the feedback! ☺️
Thank you so much for all the information… do you mind sharing how much you paid for the rental car?
Hi, I am not sure anymore, sorry, but it was a company called Wish which was the cheapest one with good reference based on our online research ☺️. Everything went well with them. Also the inflation in Turkey is crazy, so the prices will be completely different now. Anyways, the sooner you book the car, the better price usually ☺️. Hope it helps at least a littlw bit ☺️

Hey guys we are planning tje similar route in end of July tjis year. How safe is the drive?
Hi Kristi, I have a few questions am hoping you can answer.
1. Istanbul to Cesme- Wasn't this a long drive? I'm wondering how much time you had to spend in Cesme beaches if you started the drive from Istanbul in the morning.
2. Could you see any places in Izmir or was it just a stopover place to rest? I'm thinking of skipping Izmir and just staying in Cesme and head to Ephesus next day from there.
3. Antalya would've taken 3 nights no? Arrive from Fethiye. Night 1. Day 1- Suluada island, Night 2. Day 2- Beach and Old town. Night 3. Day 3- Leave to Capaddocia. I'm finding it difficult to understand how you spent only 2 nights in Antlaya and did so many things
4. Did you think of skipping Ankara on the way back? is it worth to stop there?
Hi Swetha, sure, happy to! 🙂
1) It was 6 hours long drive. We arrived there around 2 pm and spend the whole afternoon on the beach and walked around the neighborhood behind the beach and then we walked around the town which is very beautiful.
2) Izmir was a stopover place for us. We wanted to get closer to Ephesus. Izmir is a big city, Cesme is small and cute and I liked it more. So if you can, spend a night in Cesme, I wish I would have.
3) Yes, you are correct, it was 3 night, I just checked our booking.com history and we spend there 3 nights, not 2. Sorry for the confusion.
4) We drove, so it was on our way from Cappadocia to Istanbul. I personally wanted to see the capital and it was nice. There are 2 main points of interest - the caste with the old town and Anitkabir where you learn a lot about Tthe urkish history. I really enjoyed the visit and I would go again. But only if I had 14 days and more to spend in Turkey. If I had only 12 days, Ankara would be the first thing I´d leave out.
Hope it helps!
Kristi

What camera did you guys used for recording this?
The quality is amazing.
Thank you, I shoot all my footage on an iPhone. For drone shots, I have DJI Mini 3 and for underwater shots I use GoPro ☺️
@@KristiTravelEscape Thanks. Also what car rental company did you guys use? And how were they? How much deposit did you have to put and when did you receive the deposit back?
@@teekay1338 It was Wish and they were great! No complains at all ☺️. There was some deposit and we got it all back. I don’t remember how much, but the price will differ anyways as Turkey has 50% inlation right now.
Hi Kristi. Looks like a wonderful trip, thanks for the great info. Could you share the company/agency with which you did the paragliding, and if you had any issues? Also, did you have to book this experience in advance? Thanks!
Hi, thank you so much, I am happy I could help! ☺️❤️. We booked the trip 1 day ahead on the spot and we went with company called Gravity and we had no issues at all ☺️

hey Kristi, thoroughly enjoyed your vlog.. can you please share the list of the hotels you stayed in. also if you can share the web from where you made the booking. this will be a great help. I am using your vlog as a guide for my trip. Will be travelling in 1st week of April. Can you also recommend any local tour guide ..
Hi there, we found all the hotels on booking.com ☺️ but be aware that booking.com is blocked in Turkey so you need to book your stay before leaving to Turkey or vis VPN in Turkey. We stayd in many places and really good one was the Balloon Cave Hotel in Capppadocia, this one I can recommend ☺️. We didn’t go with local guide, so unfortunately, I cannot help you here, but there are many facebook groups with Turkish guides ☺️ have fun in Turkey! ❤️

Turkiye, the official name. Not Turkey.
Hi, I am aware, but my channel is in English, so I am using English name 😊
@@KristiTravelEscape What! So your channel is in English but you don't know English 😂 What does it say above " official " in English. What does it mean official! It means accepted by governing bodies such as UN, NATO, English speaking countries such as the US. It is Turkiye in English. There is not such thing as Turkiye in Turkish but in some other languages including in English. Türkiye in Turkish. Thank you. Thank you for visiting Turkiye but should know the name of the country you're visiting in English or in some other language i.e.French, Spanish, Arabic, Balkan...whatever
@@fugenturkoglu Hi, thank you for your input. I believe Türkiye is a Turkish name that Erdoğan wanted the UN and the world to use instead of Turkey 😊. Didn’t know that it was already approved, but you are right. I believe, Turkey is still commonly used, therefore I’d like to keep it that way. Thank you.
@@KristiTravelEscape It's nothing to do with Erdogan, and it's not your choice. The name and official name is Turkiye but of course you could keep showing how stupid you are by making videos about a country or city you're visiting/living yet not knowing the name of that country and city and using a name of your choice such as Turkey or Colombo or Bombay or German Democratic Republic or Kiev for Kyiv
@@KristiTravelEscape Anyway! You've shown how ignorant you are by thinking or believing " I believe Türkiye is a Turkish name that Erdoğan wanted the UN " I didn't say Türkiye. I said 'Turkiye' . You should know and see the name of the country in Turkish is ' Türkiye ' If you're in Turkiye. English name is 'Turkiye' . Turkiye is a democratic Republic , not a monarchy unlike some other countries. We cast our vote regarding governing issues of Republic of Turkiye . Also, not only Erdogan but most people in Turkiye speak Turkish. Sorry, but something wrong with your IQ also "Erdoğan wanted the UN " so Erdoğan wanted the UN to change the name to Turkiye ...UN using Turkiye because of Erdoğan. Erdoğan wanted, I want as well so I am going to contact NATO to tell them to start using Turkiye also. I might contact to some countries as well such the UK, Qatar....to change the name to Turkiye tonight! While I am contacting the UK possibly to Prince Charles to change the name to Turkiye, and also Qatar, I would suggest you to learn, grow your intelligence by watching this video Travel Comic "This is ANKARA!! | A road trip with my old car" 81 reasons to fall in love with Turkiye.
