I'm not the biggest fan of Nagito, but I would find this kind of interaction hilarious with Makoto. I can imagine it would be verbal ping-pong of them complimenting eachother and whilst putting themselves down.

Keebo and Makoto are somewhat similar because they both say “No, that’s wrong!”, both have ahoges, they’re 5 feet 3 inches and they become the Ultimate Hope.
im gonna list a lot here bc i have a lot and have no danganronpa friends: -akane tries to cook sometimes, but she accidentally taste tests too much so there's nothing much left. so she gets someone to cook with her so she doesn't get as distracted. -angie has relatively strong synesthesia and whenever she makes a friend she will paint what they look like as an abstract drawing. -aoi ends up staying up till like three eating doughnuts sometimes and then just does push ups for hours because she's hyped. sometimes yuta would do them with her and they'd end up having actually deep conversations. -byakuya is good at ping pong -celeste gambles on really dumb things, so like 'makoto will drop his mug' -chiaki isn't a huge fan of board games -chihiro took a LONG time to find their aesthetic and at one point tried to dress like a roadman. this failed. a lot. -fuyuhiko can't tie his tie -genocider syo/jack/jill looks completely different to the body in the inner world and one day gets a haircut and when toko fronts again she FREAKS THE FCK OUT -gonta once got really really bad lice but didn't do anything bc he didn't wanna hurt the bugs -hajime really likes anything orange. one day as a prank kokichi and potentially angie paint his entire room different shades of orange but they actually do a good job so he likes it -hifumi despises game wars he plays both fortnite and gacha and loves them equally -himiko has a large collection of 27 sets of playing cards. the jesters are missing however, kokichi stole them. -hiyoko puts gummies in people's hair, particularly nagito's -ibuki has a typing quirk and either mahiru or kazuichi will provide translations for everyone else (unless she's like making a video or smth) -izuru got over 60 games of battleship for his birthday -jataro has tried to eat crayons multiple times -junko would rip the heads off her dolls -kaede DESPISES sight reading -kaito secretly believes in star signs -keebo doesn't understand deez nutz jokes and falls for them many many times -kirumi gets told to relax as a task so that she actually will -kiyotaka loves sonic the hedgehog -kokichi once tried to scare shuichi with dhmis but shuichi loved it and started spending hours researching the lore of it. so then kokichi tries to scare kaito with dhmis. this works almost too well. -komaru had a long duolingo streak but lost it when byakuya broke her out of the appartment. she didn't have internet. just duolingo. it is eternal. /j -korekiyo has a collection of named socks -kotoko paints her nails sometimes but it always goes really messy so nagito, jataro and komaru do them for her -kyoko is hard of hearing -leon had a tiktok dancing account with anywhere between 50-1000 followers -mahiru really likes cherries -maki never uses emojis -makoto is a stan. idk who he stans but he is a stan. -masaru is very good at rounders -mikan uses hello kitty plasters -miu would still do fairy comments now -monaca is non human -mondo had a tricycle as a kid -mukuro is a sarcastic monarch and tries to hint at not being junko: 'yuhh, like have you heard about those stories where there's twins and one disguises as the other? that would be so weird and cliche if that were the case here, right? -nagisa got one of those from me to you teddies from kotoko and keeps it in his pocket at all times -nagito can crochet -nekomaru has broken many many basket ball hoops -peko had a pet squirrel -rantaro went through a phase of dying his hair every other day or something like that -ryoma likes bedtime stories, like the ones for kids sakura is declared queen by sonia. sakura politely declines. -sayaka loves kpop -shuichi overanalyses everything his friends say and do to make sure they don't secretly hate him -sonia isn't too phased by executions because she had to witness executions in her country -tenko likes pasties -teruteru's room is always clean out of habit for the kitchen -toko is a simp for hermionie -tsumugi is a very good sewer and makes her own cosplays sometimes -twogami is partially blind -yasuhiro fcking loves cranberry juice. -yuta is a theatre kid.
My head canon is that Nagito, despite telling everyone how worthless he is, has the best grades in his class. Another is that Kokichi has an ultimate despair talent just like Junko, but expresses it through pranks to relieve it. Another is that Junko genuinely wanted to be a good person at first and tried her best. But everything she did felt fake and forced. Nothing gave her happiness until someone was in pain, only then did she felt happiness. She hated that she was born such an awful person. She hated her reasoning to cause despair. She never accepted herself. It’s a mental struggle for her until she finally decided that a bad person like herself can’t be good no matter how much she wanted it, so she committed to being an awful person. And I think this would cause a friendship with Nagito as he would understand how it feels to think in awful ways.

Spoilers for some of the games here, so read at your own risk -Chiaki used to have a small crush on Hajime, but got over it since she knew what would happen to her eventually when she's found as traitor -Nagito loves anime -Mondo does not like butter anymore -Taka thinks Sparkling Justice is nothing but a lame excuse of "justice" -Sonia is a HUGE fan of Genocide Jill -Kaito teaches Shuichi and Maki all the things he learns about space and astronomy -Korekiyo's favorite traditions are ones where humanity comes together to celebrate a big event -Chihiro and Chiaki are extremely interested by Keebo, and Keebo likes having them around since they treat him respectfully and are fascinated by all his features -Mukuro never wanted to go along with Junko's plan, but Junko forced her to, and promised her she would not regret it -Some of the students try modifying Keebo in different ways. Miu tries giving him not very important features because of course, Chihiro tries programming to upgrade his current ones, and Kazuichi tries giving him new parts -Shuichi and Kyoko are besties -Korekiyo and Gonta are often seen as the "dad" of the V3 group, often being the ones to keep everyone in line and help them when they're feeling down -Sayaka, Ibuki, Hiyoko, and Kaede like making concerts and such together, with Sayaka and Ibuki singing, Hiyoko being a dancer, and Kaede making the music -Leon, Aoi, and Akane all consider Nekomaru/Mechamaru a coach to them, and all four of them get along well -Kokichi is extremely fascinated by space, and secretly admires Kaito -Himiko often makes art for Angie, claiming she did it with magic

A head canon I have is the reason why Makoto is shorter than Komaru is because he gave his food to her when they were younger and sacrificed many other things so she was able to grow normally which lead him to be a little malnourished. Or yknow, genetics.
I actually like to say Kokichi pre-game was training with a group of others to end up as a pathological liar. So when he ends up in the killing game, he's able to take the skill with him to try and destroy the killing game. (Spoilers) As if this is to coincide with the fact they all auditioned as Tsumugi said in chapter 6
Every Tuesday, Kyoko, and Shuichi meet up, and read hard riddles together for an hour. Teruteru makes a cake for Ibuki's birthday. And when he does its strawberry, and blueberry mix. Leon has a crush on aoi. But is too scared to tell her. Ryoma,(3 ft) and Nekumaru(almost 7 ft) are best friends. Angie, K1B0, Ryoma, Rantaro, and Kaede have a secret knitting club. Chiaki, Chiriro, Miu, and Kazzuichi started a project where they make a HD ultra 4k TV. And they argue a lot. Maki enjoys drinking apple juice.

also, this is a popular one i think, the pregame audition tapes were fake bc their names were blurred out but in the actual pregame (before they got their talents) shuichi and kaede said their actual names so there was no point and i think tsumugi cosplayed as them and said a different name to not get cospox.
-Makoto acts like a sort of older brother to all of the THH cast because he’s used to being a big brother to Komaru -Likewise, Nagito acts kinda parentally to the SDR2 cast because he spent all that time basically raising the WOH -The WOH live with Nagito and the SDR2 cast on Jabberwock Island -After Toko told the THH cast about her “adventures” in Towa City with Komaru, Makoto thanked her for being there for his little sister, then promptly gave her the “if you hurt her, no one will find your body.” or the shovel talk
A Byakuya headcanon I have is that he learned how to do chores and cooking before he went to Hope's Peak thanks to a butler of his. During the killing game he was grateful for the butler's efforts to make sure Togami wouldn't need to depend on others for simple things like laundry. As, they'd see it as a weakness if anyone found out he couldn't cook or clean. Damn this is pretty in character.
maki is secretly an animal lover like gundham and gonta- but shes too embarrassed about it so she keeps it a secret and she secretly likes to play animal crossing with kaede when no one else is around-
( here's a long one lol) Pregame ouma has alotta manga stacked in his bedroom , it's not like he likes manga or anything tho ,it's just that he mentioned that he thinks anime might not be so bad infront of shirogane, so she gave him a manga . Instead of throwing it away he ended up giving it to one of his dice members , who loved it alot and went on and on about it ! When shiro asked ouma if he liked the manga he just told her exactly what that dice member said , which made shiro very happy and now she gives him a manga vol. every week, and as a payment for his lie he now became the walkie-talkie for these two ,lmfao

For me: Nagito was one of the students in Kurôzu-cho High School in Uzumaki by Junji Ito. (Since his previous high school is called “Spiral High School”) Because of it, he like to collect anything that had spirals.
My headcannon is that Kokichi was an orphan because in his motive video the most important people in his life were dice members who were like family to Kokichi. It could mean Kokichi doesn’t get along with his real family or he just doesn’t have one. Kokichi is good at stealing so he probably had to steal food and maybe that’s why he’s so short and skinny because he didn’t eat much as a child. It’s possible he wasn’t entirely by himself when he was alone before he met dice he was probably with a group of orphans and when they caught stealing they betrayed Kokichi. This event could cause Kokichi using lying as a defense mechanism. He had to lie to survive and had to lie to cope with his emotions later Kokichi meets Dice and treated him like family

Rantaro is like the brother type for the girls except for tenko If shuichi met up with kyoko they will talk about detective novels Rantaro knows all the lauguages all around the world so one time kokichi asked rantaro what is "maliit na daga" transaltes to "small rat" so rantaro say to kokichi means is THE SUPRIME LEADER so he said that all the time while rantaro is quietly laughing on the corner Pregame tsumigi is like that cringe danganronpa fan cause i get the vibes Shuichi and rantaro are so close because rantaro hears alot of murder news while he is adventuring the world so shuichi is trying to connect the dots on the murder causes Mahiru really likes aesthetic stuff so she made HIGH QUALITY PICTURES OF THE WHOLE CAST OF DANGANRONPA Rantaro likes to read adventure books Thats it pheew thats alot

Headcanon: when she was a kid, Sayaka once made her dad chuckle with the “because I’m psychic“ joke. Although this was mostly just a courtesy laugh for his young daughter, this small exchange meant the world to Sayaka‘s small impressionable mind at the time… and she hasn’t stopped saying that line since. By this point, It kinda just gets on everyone’s nerves a little, but no one tells her because after all, it seems to make her happy.
Himiko, Tenko, Monokuma, Nagito, Nekomaru (for some odd reason), Yasuhiro, Byakua (against his will), Gonta, Kokichi, Chihiro, Taka, Sonia, Miu and Keebo play DnD while Tsumugi is the Dungeon Master... I just realized that Monokuma would just suggest murder as an answer to any problem.

one of mine ( it's a subtle crossover HC, oof ) the ultimate poet would have been in the first killing game instead of toko, but she was forced to choose her own death ( decapitation ) by an animatronic, and thus died beforehand.
3:26 in my AU she technically has two children- well, let me explain. Miu in my family is a lesbian inventor who’s often lonely and wants a friend. Therefore she built K1-B0, who un-ironically started calling Miu mom for some reason despite her attitude towards literally everyone being quite *vulgar* Miu in my AU survives the killing game! Making it four survivo- K1-B0 did not survive. He did the same thing he did in canon, therefore Miu after the killing game was over built a new robot called K2-O1 and she would tell her new robot that she’s her grandmother and that her father went missing and that he hasn’t come back yet. Mainly because she doesn’t want to tell her that this father figure is dead and his body parts that are left are probably stored in a box somewhere and Miu is trying to rebuild him without her “granddaughter” noticing.

WHY ARE THEY SO SMALL???* Also just a few random headcanons I have: Toko used to pull on her hair when she was stressed out until komaru helped her get out of that bad habit. Kiibo adopted monotaro and practically treats him like his actual son. Chiaki and chihiro have gaming channels and often Collab. Mukuro actually is a huge softie and actually loves to play Pokemon (her favorite Pokemon is falinks) And finally, kiyotaka has to be reminded by mondo to take care of himself constantly since he often forgets to eat.
Kokichi thinks everyone lies to him because he lies and the only people that he knows don’t lie to him are Shuichi and Himiko. All Dead characters can switch from alive to dead but can only LOOK alive. Shuichi is uncomfortable about dating as what happened during the Love suite events with Miu, Angie and Korekiyo so he likes his space. Kokichi usually makes pillow forts for Shuichi so he can relax from a stress full day. Kokichi does not care for love and dating as he never feels like he has a loved one in his life. When Himiko is angry Kokichi always lets her dress him up and play DND with him. Makoto, Nagito and Kokichi have a group called the chaos group. (Aka the people that are thought to be the mastermind but are not.) Chiaki, Nagito and Hajime have a club called “Club club” Kaede ,Kokichi and Shuichi usually talk to Club club as they are both “Main plot characters” for each of their games. Shuichi has nightmares about the deaths of every one so Himiko cares for him but spoils him without knowing.
I love the head canon of Junko killing her friends and sister, in order to make them feel despair, but only because she loves them. It really humanizes her, and I've always thought this about her as well. I also really like the stuff about Keebo and Himiko playing D&D, adorable as heck! For me I have a head canon that Kokichi was trying to help everyone from day 1, but since he had doubt in himself and didn't think "getting along" Would be good since Monokuma hated it, he made himself into the "villain" but was really doing so too help everyone!
My current Chiaki headcanon is that because she’s an Ai she can never see the outside world, or the real world per say. She is stuck seeing the void essentially until another killing game starts where she will be either executed or a survivor (not dying because she is an Ai meaning she will just respawn) every-time or worse yet, stuck watching from the sidelines, invisible to all the contestants and unable to warn them about the dangers of such game.
Some of my hcs: Gonta uses things that Kokichi says sometimes, he doesn't realize what they mean and people get mad at Kokichi for teaching him things like that :)
One of my headcannons is that whenever all the drv3 cast are sleeping but Kokichi he would get up and sneak out his room and set up pranks all around the area there in so the drv3 cast will wake up to alot of pranks and suprises:))

-akane tries to cook sometimes, but she accidentally taste tests too much so there's nothing much left. so she gets someone to cook with her so she doesn't get as distracted.
-angie has relatively strong synesthesia and whenever she makes a friend she will paint what they look like as an abstract drawing.
-aoi ends up staying up till like three eating doughnuts sometimes and then just does push ups for hours because she's hyped. sometimes yuta would do them with her and they'd end up having actually deep conversations.

-celeste gambles on really dumb things, so like 'makoto will drop his mug'

My head canon is that Nagito, despite telling everyone how worthless he is, has the best grades in his class. Another is that Kokichi has an ultimate despair talent just like Junko, but expresses it through pranks to relieve it. Another is that Junko genuinely wanted to be a good person at first and tried her best. But everything she did felt fake and forced. Nothing gave her happiness until someone was in pain, only then did she felt happiness. She hated that she was born such an awful person. She hated her reasoning to cause despair. She never accepted herself. It’s a mental struggle for her until she finally decided that a bad person like herself can’t be good no matter how much she wanted it, so she committed to being an awful person. And I think this would cause a friendship with Nagito as he would understand how it feels to think in awful ways.
Kay so I have a kokichi headcanon
Kokichi has memorized: the entire Navy Seals copypasta, the entire Rickroll (which he screams at 2am solely to piss of everyone), the entire What the frick frack diddily dack patty wack snick snack crack pack slack mack quarterback crackerjack biofeedback backtrack thumbtack sidetrack tic-tac, and the Stop Posting About Among Us meme
Some of my handcanons are:
- The fake opening in Goodbye Despair is the instrumental for After School Popoyon Hour.
- Kotoko’s mother was pregnant with several other children, before and after Kotoko was born, but in the end she always miscarried.
- Korekiyo often has sleep paralysis and night terrors.
- Celeste’s cat is her best friend and her red eyes are actually contacts, her real eye color is hazel/brown.
- Chihiro is a sucker for dirty jokes, but doesn’t want to admit it.

-Chihiro and Chiaki are extremely interested by Keebo, and Keebo likes having them around since they treat him respectfully and are fascinated by all his features
-Mukuro never wanted to go along with Junko's plan, but Junko forced her to, and promised her she would not regret it
-Some of the students try modifying Keebo in different ways. Miu tries giving him not very important features because of course, Chihiro tries programming to upgrade his current ones, and Kazuichi tries giving him new parts
-Shuichi and Kyoko are besties
-Korekiyo and Gonta are often seen as the "dad" of the V3 group, often being the ones to keep everyone in line and help them when they're feeling down
-Sayaka, Ibuki, Hiyoko, and Kaede like making concerts and such together, with Sayaka and Ibuki singing, Hiyoko being a dancer, and Kaede making the music
-Leon, Aoi, and Akane all consider Nekomaru/Mechamaru a coach to them, and all four of them get along well
-Kokichi is extremely fascinated by space, and secretly admires Kaito
-Himiko often makes art for Angie, claiming she did it with magic

A Byakuya headcanon I have is that he learned how to do chores and cooking before he went to Hope's Peak thanks to a butler of his.
During the killing game he was grateful for the butler's efforts to make sure Togami wouldn't need to depend on others for simple things like laundry.
As, they'd see it as a weakness if anyone found out he couldn't cook or clean.

Nagito was one of the students in Kurôzu-cho High School in Uzumaki by Junji Ito. (Since his previous high school is called “Spiral High School”)
Because of it, he like to collect anything that had spirals.
My headcannon is that Kokichi was an orphan because in his motive video the most important people in his life were dice members who were like family to Kokichi. It could mean Kokichi doesn’t get along with his real family or he just doesn’t have one. Kokichi is good at stealing so he probably had to steal food and maybe that’s why he’s so short and skinny because he didn’t eat much as a child. It’s possible he wasn’t entirely by himself when he was alone before he met dice he was probably with a group of orphans and when they caught stealing they betrayed Kokichi. This event could cause Kokichi using lying as a defense mechanism. He had to lie to survive and had to lie to cope with his emotions later Kokichi meets Dice and treated him like family

Although this was mostly just a courtesy laugh for his young daughter, this small exchange meant the world to Sayaka‘s small impressionable mind at the time… and she hasn’t stopped saying that line since.
By this point, It kinda just gets on everyone’s nerves a little, but no one tells her because after all, it seems to make her happy.

3:26 in my AU she technically has two children- well, let me explain. Miu in my family is a lesbian inventor who’s often lonely and wants a friend. Therefore she built K1-B0, who un-ironically started calling Miu mom for some reason despite her attitude towards literally everyone being quite *vulgar* Miu in my AU survives the killing game! Making it four survivo- K1-B0 did not survive. He did the same thing he did in canon, therefore Miu after the killing game was over built a new robot called K2-O1 and she would tell her new robot that she’s her grandmother and that her father went missing and that he hasn’t come back yet. Mainly because she doesn’t want to tell her that this father figure is dead and his body parts that are left are probably stored in a box somewhere and Miu is trying to rebuild him without her “granddaughter” noticing.

Mukuro actually is a huge softie and actually loves to play Pokemon (her favorite Pokemon is falinks)
And finally, kiyotaka has to be reminded by mondo to take care of himself constantly since he often forgets to eat.
Kokichi thinks everyone lies to him because he lies and the only people that he knows don’t lie to him are Shuichi and Himiko.
All Dead characters can switch from alive to dead but can only LOOK alive.
Shuichi is uncomfortable about dating as what happened during the Love suite events with Miu, Angie and Korekiyo so he likes his space.
Kokichi usually makes pillow forts for Shuichi so he can relax from a stress full day.
Kokichi does not care for love and dating as he never feels like he has a loved one in his life.
When Himiko is angry Kokichi always lets her dress him up and play DND with him.
Makoto, Nagito and Kokichi have a group called the chaos group. (Aka the people that are thought to be the mastermind but are not.)
Chiaki, Nagito and Hajime have a club called “Club club”
Kaede ,Kokichi and Shuichi usually talk to Club club as they are both “Main plot characters” for each of their games.
Shuichi has nightmares about the deaths of every one so Himiko cares for him but spoils him without knowing.
Celeste sometimes poses as togami's wife when he has dinner business meetings in someone's house

I love the head canon of Junko killing her friends and sister, in order to make them feel despair, but only because she loves them. It really humanizes her, and I've always thought this about her as well.
I also really like the stuff about Keebo and Himiko playing D&D, adorable as heck!
For me I have a head canon that Kokichi was trying to help everyone from day 1, but since he had doubt in himself and didn't think "getting along" Would be good since Monokuma hated it, he made himself into the "villain" but was really doing so too help everyone!
My current Chiaki headcanon is that because she’s an Ai she can never see the outside world, or the real world per say. She is stuck seeing the void essentially until another killing game starts where she will be either executed or a survivor (not dying because she is an Ai meaning she will just respawn) every-time or worse yet, stuck watching from the sidelines, invisible to all the contestants and unable to warn them about the dangers of such game.
