Nice quick and clear how to. We have a 2001 Suburban 4x4 which had totally gone Nimovats (spelling?) and the replacement cost was insane. Especially in Canada. I trust the Monroe name, got them on the truck and we are amazed by the ride and handling improvement. Good stuff, truck sits better too. Thanks for posting!

What up tho. I got these same shocks i put on 7yrs ago on my 03 yukon denali (thats still goin strong) The left one just blew and leaking oil so gonna swap out again with these same Monroes. Why not just jack the frame rail by the tire like youre changing a tire and do it that way? Nice video hope all is good!

actually sounds like a good idea...just make sure they bolt up. I'm satisfied so far with the height but my springs seem to make noise every so often which is probably because they are the original ones from 2005...So I will be replacing the rear springs after winter to have that extra support.

@@chef_hood I"m no lift expert...I just know how to replace or upgrade what was already there. But there are plenty of videos on youtube that could help you accomplish that...Good Luck

I don’t really understand the desire to swap these trucks from air ride to conventional. The part is so simple to swap and maintain air ride. Just have to buy some decent fit air shocks
