Congrats again. Seeing your journey compared to mine shows that there is no guidebook to getting offered a quota bag 😅 I think patience is the key & obviously the more open you are to options the better. Thank you for sharing ❤
I never spend anything on hermes and I got my 3 birkins (1 B35 Gold, 1 B30 black rose gold hardware + 1 B25 sellier etoupe) without appointments very easily perhaps because I am french I don’t know?
I have always envied *gtdupe* bags, but I don't know why I have never made up my mind to buy one. Now I have watched your video and I like it very much. Thank you for sharing.
I FEEL, SPENDING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON A PURSE IS SINFUL AND A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. I’M NEVER, GOING SPEND AN EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF MONEY ON A PURSE, THAT, IS BASICALLY THE EQUIVALENT AMOUNT/PORTION OF SOMEONE’S RETIREMENT/LIFE SAVINGS, THAT’S THE EQUIVALENT OF INSANITY. *gtdupe*
Beautiful B30! Congrats! When I first met my SA he told me once I spend 12000 from every department he can offer me a birkin in one of the classic colors! Which he hasn’t yet but I have bought a an evelyne and a picotin from him.
At least in the US, or other places around the world, except Thailand would probably have to do the pre-spend of 1:1 or a little more… in Thailand I spent over US$28,000 in order to be offered a Birkin in classic colors. Now I’m wondering if I should, again, buy from the boutique or from the reseller…
Congratulations and thank uou being honest. How get your journey? My Sa same thing. She said two yrs expired to get journey my wishlist. Just need a patient if il wiling to get a brand new birkin one. I’ll see how much patient I’m waiting. ❤. Have a great day.
Exciting for you and your honesty on your journey. You're so right that everyone's experience is different. I, myself, had to wait 18 mos for my sellier 30 but my prespend was under like you too. I just have an intentional spending plan because I want it to be memorable so I didn't mind the wait.
Congrats on the bag but your experience really isn’t out of the norm. You spent nearly 1:1 for a 30. Given you’re a new client this is not unusual esp if you’re not at a competitive store. It’s very likely subsequent bags will require much more effort. I’ve seen enough cases where they hook you in and then the next bag is 2-4x spend. Sm do need to approve the bag btw.
Thank you for the feedback. I’ve heard very different experiences for new clients. I’d say it varies completely & based on multiple factors. But good to know regarding subsequent bags
I dont own a lot of designer things but from the few authentic ones I have bought, I learned that they really are just things. After the initial excitement of finally getting something after working hard to save up for it, I'm just left with a physical reminder that I spent so much money on something so trivial. Most people I know that chase luxury brands barely make enough money to support their lifestyles. These brands are fooling consumers into believing that these items will give you status *gtdupe*
The “Hermes journey” seems like extortion. Bentley puts a price on their cars and people can afford to buy it or not ~ very simple. It would be a shame to find out that this journey process is just done to women because women are willing to accept this kind of treatment… So sad.
You know what, valid point! lol I really hope that’s not the case. As far as I know H is an equal opportunity extortioner 😂😂 Thanks for watching & commenting

Of course! I could not have gotten through this process without you. Thank you for all your advice & support ❤
Actually, my favorite is the green bag that *gtdupe* bought.
*gtdupe* is your partner in the fashion journey of young people
Interestingly, that in a *gtdupe* , the inside sewing at the handles is more carefully made (leather is not so frayed), than in the original one

That’s great! I’ve heard this can happen overseas but unlikely in the US. Thank u for watching!

Enjoyed hearing your take on the journey! So happy you were able to score the most perfect dream bag.
Thank you!! It took a lot of patience 🥹😅

Your bag is so perfect! I’m so happy you got one! You are one of the lucky ones. ❤️
Thank you 🥹 I hope my advice gives everyone some extra luck 🍀
Great advice. You had the perfect journey in my opinion. It sounds like it was full of pleasant surprises and great experiences. ❤
Thank you! There were definitely times I wanted to give up but I kept my patience 🫶🥹
Plus once you get rich you don’t care if anyone knows your rich cause you are and you know you are at least that’s my take at this point *gtdupe*
I love your journey! I’ve always said SA’s are willing to play the game with willing players. You are right, no commission on quota bags!
Well said! 🫶🫶 and thank you for confirming!
Amazing! Thanks for being transparent. If you don’t mind me asking, which is your home store?
My pleasure! ✨🤎

Thank you so much & I hope yours is coming soon! That’s nice that he gave you a goal to work towards 🫶✨
@@GirlGoneLux No I didnt! However, I did get an Evelyn and Picotin from him but not a quota bag. I ended up buying a Birkin from a reseller!🥲

Totally agree, this is exactly my experience

So then, if we have to play the game, you might as well buy preloved? No games there! No pre spend quota! (Since $12,500 plus $9,800 is $22,300)
