Thanks for making the video. I visited the bell chamber decades ago but for whatever reason didn't take photos so my memories of the bells and roof above had pretty much gone. Beautiful bells, important to Lincolnshire
Hopefully if my replacement phone/videoing equipment doesn't distort, I'll try and get another one of all 12. It's an immense sound chamber, but just part of the treasure of Lincolnshire!

wow, I wonder why these are some of my favourite rings of twelve in the uk, cause they sound beautiful and are perfectly tuned
One of my absolutel favourite rings of bells
Beautiful ring on 10
this is awesome!!
Lovely sound - based purely off of sound I'd say the 10 have the edge, but I have not yet rang here. Would love a visit someday!
They are very fine bells, but then I am a little prejudiced.
It's a bit Like Westminster Abbey.
I suppose, but Taylors have much more hum.
@@DavidBraunton I meant that comment by where the bells are hung and not how they sound.
Lovely peal but shame there lower down
Why aren’t 3 of the bells working?
They're ringing 'Royal' or 10 bells, there's two extra for ringing maximus or 12, and a flat 6th for ringing a middle eight with number 9 as tenor.
*VOLUME WARNING* ⚠️
I'm afraid it's the recording device, it doesn't cope without distortion, turn down to about 50-60%.
@@DavidBraunton nice bells they sound similar to gloucester cathedral those are in Eb
@@ΝΙΚΟΣΠΟΔΑΣ-δ4σ they're quite a bit more in tune than Gloucester (relatively a modern peal), these are slightly deeper in D.
@@ΝΙΚΟΣΠΟΔΑΣ-δ4σthey’re more like Newport Cathedral and Christ Church, Swindon
