In my opinion, without doubt, the sweetest peal of bells in the whole land; and I have heard a great many. To be outside of Lincoln Cathedral when you are ringing is a real privilege and pleasure.
I love them so much, that when I was at home the other week, I forced my dad to take me, because I wanted to ring on a 'beautiful taylor 12' before I came back up to a place where my nearest ring is inverness!!
to get a good recording at liverpool, you don't actually need a HD camera to hear all the bells, you just need absolutely perfect striking, which I have heard just twice when I have visited, which is a great shame.
the video is of the ceiling because I placed the phone on a ledge behind me just as we were about to pull off! The audio/video was actually recorded on my old iphone 4, which has a really good mic, just as the ipad and new iphone has. All my videos (except maybe one or two) are either taken on iPhone 4 or 5 or the iPad!
