Les Misérables Flash Mob "Do You Hear The People Sing" lead by Laura Wright 13 May 2013, Kings Cross St. Pancras International Station #LesMis #SingYourDay
A flash mob or flashmob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place and perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time before quickly dispersing. They are often used for the purposes of entertainment, satire or artistic expression and are organized via telecommunications, social media, or viral emails.
Do you hear the people sing? Singing a song of angry men? It is the music of a people Who will not be slaves again When the beating of your heart Echoes the beating of the drums There is a life about to start When tomorrow comes Will you join in our crusade? Who will be strong and stand with me? Beyond the barricade Is there a world you long to see? Then join in the fight That will give you the right to be free
beautiful... it's created a years ago by her a piece of melody without lirycs just lalalala.. sang alone at home...with her voice.. now it become beautiful song with great lyrics singing together love it... thank you..
What I love with this musical is that it spreads French culture; look at these people around the singer: one of them has a French flag! Isn't that great?
Hey guys, this version no matter if it´s not a Flash Mob thing. Ed Day former Libera member is in it. Hence why I think it´s great :D - Have always liked Eds solos and duos with Tom Cully when they were in Libera. Edward Day walks in at 0:46 ish. Hope you guys enjoy to see him sing again as much as I do. - Have a nice evening everyone . Lots of love from Sweden.
Relevant and appropriately right for France and Europe right now. Free people do not live in fear if they stand together against thugs and those who would intimidate and enslave them. Vive La France!
Currently on vacation, I would if it weren't for the fact I'm only on a family trip with 4 other people, so I don't have the numbers, and my brother would probably be the only one willing to participate in the shenanigans. Doing this is now on my bucket list.

I do not say that it is in France, I say it is about something which first of all is a classic of french literature, and this contributes to the diffusion of french culture throughout the world.
This song gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. We performed the finale version of this song last night at my first concert at the high school. And it turns out it was also the conductor's first concert.
300 people most students died for their country which fell through in 2 days, years later people celebrate the song that originated from it with no other reason than it sounds cool
Y'all need to chill. This is ACTUALLY a flash mob my dudes. Except this video just didn't show that. The people who joined the singing was originally from the audiences, randomly placed
Originally, flash mobs weren't even rehearsed. People were requested by email to go somewhere at a fixed time and do something unexpectedly together, like quack like ducks, or sit down on the floor, or freeze, point to something in the sky, etc. It was all to confuse and amuse bystanders in an effort to give them something to talk about when they return home from their humdrum tasks - "honey you won't believe what happened in the square today..." Then the promoters moved in.
LEARN IT! It should be sung as the international anthem of the oppressed and disadvantaged at every demo everywhere. Oh, and BTW Laura sings it beautifully.
+Sir Ronald C. “KITTY CAT OF PURSIA” Uehara yeah the song is being used now since the attacks on Paris saying we wont tolerate terrorism it is a very powerful song
Good point but the "flash mob" clickbait annoys. People click on the link to see that which is advertised. I'd be annoyed if I ask for grapes at the market and receive raisins.
The best flashmobs have pre-arranged crowd control barriers and sound equipment, said no one ever.
Agreed
The entire video, I was saying, "It's not a flash mob if there's four dudes with their cameras out already. It's just an...event."
Uh yeah!
I don't care this isn't a flash mob or not. Her voice is just great.

goosebumps 😰😰
What a voice 😁
Bravo
Beautiful music lll
You need to look up what a "flash mob" is buddy.
It was not my arranging ... but it was certainly billed as a flash mob. Not a 'traditional' one I accept. This is simply the video from the event.
Nikki Lewis Any opportunity to hear this work of genius is appreciated.
+Nikki Lewis its not a flash mob..its a public performance
+Nikki Lewis It is not that this is not a traditional way of doing a flash mob, this isn't a flash mob at all.
still nice I guess
*_____* Love love Love
I don't really count that as a flash Mob, as a Flash Mob no-body knows its happening
These comments are flash mob than that video
It's almost like they didn't mean "flash mob" and meant "guerrilla concert", cause that's what this is.
true dat
@@loiusspence2718 LEGS 😍
Wow!
Relevant and appropriately right for France and Europe right now. Free people do not live in fear if they stand together against thugs and those who would intimidate and enslave them. Vive La France!
what a nice voice the female singer has
Would great in an airport line. The TSA would faint.
Forensource Someone needs to do that!
Currently on vacation, I would if it weren't for the fact I'm only on a family trip with 4 other people, so I don't have the numbers, and my brother would probably be the only one willing to participate in the shenanigans. Doing this is now on my bucket list.

Amazing-I've never heard people singing sound like they were afraid for their lives.
She ia good....

Goood
Get up. Stand up!!!!
1:54 LMAO the guy in the background slowly pops his head back in.
This song gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. We performed the finale version of this song last night at my first concert at the high school. And it turns out it was also the conductor's first concert.
香港人,加油
Has anyone else ever noticed how much the music sounds like the theme for Car 54 Where Are You?
What a lady, liked her from the first minute I saw her.
this is a planned mob
300 people most students died for their country which fell through in 2 days, years later people celebrate the song that originated from it with no other reason than it sounds cool
This is so awesome, but it's not exactly a flash mob.
VIVE LA FRANCE
Vive la France, mes amis !
Pre set up mod but still awesome I liked it
How the hell is that flash mob
I don't think you understand what a flash mob is.
some people care more about the cosmetics than the real woman. Lipstick?
rouge? Enough perfume?
CANADAWOOOOOOOOO
Y'all need to chill. This is ACTUALLY a flash mob my dudes. Except this video just didn't show that. The people who joined the singing was originally from the audiences, randomly placed
i waiting for flahs mob.
Sung during the closing credits of ep37 of Orange is the new black on Netflix
Omg I just came here coz of that
Flash Mob?
Flash mobs -- when a group of people appear in one location unexpectedly and usually put on some sort of rehearsed performance...
Originally, flash mobs weren't even rehearsed. People were requested by email to go somewhere at a fixed time and do something unexpectedly together, like quack like ducks, or sit down on the floor, or freeze, point to something in the sky, etc. It was all to confuse and amuse bystanders in an effort to give them something to talk about when they return home from their humdrum tasks - "honey you won't believe what happened in the square today..."
Then the promoters moved in.
I find Mr.Ed Day. He was soloist in Libera. I am his big fan.Mr. Ed Day ,I 'm glad to see your singing .
Yeah seriously this isn't a flash mob
LEARN IT! It should be sung as the international anthem of the oppressed and disadvantaged at every demo everywhere. Oh, and BTW Laura sings it beautifully.
The bloke that joins in 0:48 looks like Ed Day former member of the Libera Choir?
好啊
เป็นflash mobที่ซาวน์เอฟเฟคพร้อมมากกก5555555
0:21 iphone with the headphone jack on top?
Btw, i would like to see real flashmobs with this song.
Good content message. Some people choose to focus on blah, blah. Who cares what
a flash mob is? The song was a good one and well sung.
+Sir Ronald C. “KITTY CAT OF PURSIA” Uehara yeah the song is being used now since the attacks on Paris saying we wont tolerate terrorism it is a very powerful song
"Who cares what a flash mob is"
the answer to that is exactly the same as
"Who cares about your lonely soul"
the majority of people watching
Good point but the "flash mob" clickbait annoys. People click on the link to see that which is advertised. I'd be annoyed if I ask for grapes at the market and receive raisins.
Should be the daily norm in every airport
VIVA LA FRANCE!!
There is Ed, the former member of Libera!!
Les Deplorables of the whole world, unite!
This is the day that Flash-Mobs died! (If this is classed as an f-m then I no longer wish to exist either)
