Fred reminded me of my grandpa. He was grumpy, set in his ways, prejudiced but still loving. Fred was our black Archie Bunker who made us laugh at bigotry and whatever he did but we loved him regardless. This is one of the best shows growing up. Redd Foxx was a special talent. I'm sorry he died from his old routine.

Girl...I don't have a child in this world"....So I stopped and there was Red talking to about 6 stewardesses...he was just getting ready to leave so I cut him off at the door and thanked him for all the laughs thru the years and we shook hands and he stood up straight like Fred Sanford does and said " your welcome" ......I told my older brother what had happened...and He got this big ol smile on his face and said... "I would of went right up to him and said...... DAD!..... We both started laughing so hard! Me and my brother are white....all the stewerdesses were pretty young Black women! Hope this makes you laugh 😂😂🤣

The bottom line is the love they have for each other. Father and Son. Too bad that has been diminished by todays standards. When he says this is the only pop I know it gets me every time.
Father's day was made for a man who loved too be a father okay me and other women don't have a grown man like a father so what about us happy father's day
I love the show, but by the time of this episode late in the 5th season it just wasn't that funny anymore. The first three seasons are the cream of the crop though.
