Was the video about the music or camera connection? little confused? If you cutting wires you need to cut them longer at the plug 🔌 end once they come undone a few times break you won't have any wire left to play with. At least you will have that music to play though.
There is no need to cut any video cable. Adaptors are available for everything nowadays. Next time don't use music and ah. Remember to keep camera orientation horizontal always.

Stop the loud music, gave me a headache. Lay out all equipment on the table with existing wires -take a still photograph.And lay out a diagram page1,page 2 etc and then proceed!.
