Cool thing about this movie that I absolutely love: Halle Berry trained with those dogs for *months* and they took their queues and commands from HER. One thing that's always noticeable, but fails to break a film, is the fact that dogs are always looking off camera to their handler for their next command. But here in JW3 the dogs were looking at Halle like they would be looking at their handlers off screen. That little detail absolutely comes across, and is an amazing thing to see. It is easiest to see when she leaves John in the desert and the dogs are both sitting there outside the back of the SUV staring at her instead of somewhere else. I couldn't help but notice it in the theater when I first saw this film, and I love pointing it out to others.
@@Rummyson They actually used 5 dogs for the action in that film. Each one was good at different things so that dog would go jump up the wall, that dog to just sit there and look pretty for the camera, etc. And no record of her adopting any of the dogs used on set.
@@blacksheep_edge1412 dont think thats accurate with using 5 dogs. I know they used 2 Belgian Malinois and during shooting, they kept chasing cats. Haha And the pitbull that Reeves has in the movie, i know he adopted him.
Will Smith tried to adopt/buy the dog he worked with when he did the film I Am Legend and the owner said no and Will Smith offered him a good chunk of money.
@@Rummyson I agree with you on the 2 Malinois - from what I've heard they were named Dazir and Havan, but with the pitbull it's like "source or didn't happened". Sounds like an urban legend - I've tried to google it but there's nothing. Also, which one of the pitbulls are you thinking about - Burton from Chapter 2 or Cha Cha from Parabellum? Oh, and there was never anything about Halle Berry adopting the dogs. They had their own trainer besides her.
Side note: for the shotgun reload he is doing an advanced reload called a double load. Rather than loading one shell at a time, his grip holds 2 in place and his grip keeps them aligned. The swing of his arm is just from the force required to keep the latch open to load the shells
The bullets curving down is super realistic the amount of drag in water absolutely reduces the velocity of the bullet . The detail is amazing he moves away from the guy then goes up close to shoot him later .
Not only that, but you can see the guy fiddling with the charge bolt after firing those few shots. The water filled up the gun and hindered its rechambering action, causing it to fail catastrophically.
if you have ever watched myth busters they proved that does stop a bullet from another movie. they tested it using a .50cal bmg and 5 feet of water killed all velocity of it.. if you can get 5 feet away from the muzzle you will more than likely not even be hit
Another fun fact about water. Sometimes, if you shoot into water with tracers, you can sometimes see them skip off the water depending on the angle you hit the water
@@themostunknown2293 In the mythbuster example tho, i recall that being more because the 50. just disintegrated from jts own power. Lower calibur rounds would go further still, but not my much
When properly prepared, the neurotoxins produce a tingling/numbing sensation in the mouth, lips, and tongue. Chefs have to be specially trained (and in Japan they have to be licensed) to serve it.
37:30 This scene looks like it would be deadly. And the height he falls from by itself would be quite close to deadly on its own. But the thing that saved his life is the fact that his falls is broken up into many smaller falls. See, it's not the height of the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end that does it. One woman (I forget her name) fell 35,000 feet from the back of an airliner when she was working as a stewardess. The tail of the jet broke off with her in it at altitude. She passed out and fell about 35,000 feet into the side of a mountain/giant hill. Her unconscience body tumbled down the slope ultimately coming to a stop after dissipating the energy. She lived because of two things 1 - she wasn't tensed up against the coming impact, and 2 - she didn't come to a sudden and complete stop. John Wick didn't come to a sudden and complete stop after a long fall, he had a bunch of shorter falls. He most certainly is seriously hurt from all of this, but no he wouldn't die from those falls.
Falling from your own height can easily kill you. The fall John took, should lead to multiple severely broken ribs, broken back, completely shattered bones in hands and legs and significant enough trauma to the brain to cause brain bleed.
It's a movie about a worldwide, underground, assassin organization....and you're pointing out a scene may be incorrect because of how someone fell? Bruh...
I love the lore of John Wick. The whole rule mechanism, the broadcaster women, the whole hidden society where everyone respects the rules. It’s a really interesting point of view, probably even more than the amazing choreographies.
Love it all, but wouldn't mind seeing a few more loose elements, everything's getting a bit to slick and perfect, soon he'll be a superhero. I miss the grittiness and actual blood squibs.
@@4Everlast I agree. Haven't seen Chapter 4 yet but if the movies keep going up more and more in action then it'll just become another cheesy superhero franchise. Let's hope they stay true to their roots
@@carl_consumer.of.reality Honestly, it's got the most developed characters, the meatiest story, great villain that's never annoying nor boring, plenty of action and hints of all 3 previous films, ties it all in the best way possible. You get a LOT for the price of the ticket.
Theory - Winston didn't try to kill John, he knew John wouldn't get off that roof alive. By giving him 3 non-fatal shots, he actually saved his life. At the very least gave him the best chance of survival given the situation. Its for that reason i think that's what the concierge meant when he said "Well Played Sir". Still, just like the rest of us, you now have to wait for John Wick 4 :D
32:15 the bullets do that because in reality water is so dense that it slows bullets down. You can only do some damage by shooting at very close range like how John did. This is something many films get wrong.
The amputation of the finger is a sign of asking for forgiveness and proving your loyalty. The yakuza was big into that kind of stuff. Also, they cauterized his fingers to seal his amputated finger
I also can't help but notice it was the ring finger, and the Elder being an Arab draws me to the conclusion that the Continental is somehow descended from the Hashashin. I don't know if they historically removed their ring fingers to show their devotion, but their fictional counterparts in Assassin's Creed did.
@@veszimardalath9739 was gonna say, I assume the assassins creed mutilation came from some arabic tradition and they are the origins of the term and understanding we have of the job today.
I love all the realism & little details in these films - it shows how much everyone cares about them, i.e.: - Keanu Reeves performing his own stunts w/ weapons training - John needing to reload constantly - John wearing his watch facing inwards (which is apparently a military/ sniper trick) - bullets losing momentum in water - Halle Berry training her dogs, etc
Earlier on the pop up text comments "still wasn't prepared" after the neck break over a book. From 3:40 to 7:50 is just a face straining build up of violence. By the time the knife to the eye happens, he is climbing the walls closing his eyes and hiding behind his hands. It all stops with the axe to the head. Had me laughing at the reaction to the violence.
When they did the shot in the pool I screamed for pure joy... finally, real weapon physics. Made me so fucking happy. Best shot in any action movie and PROVES John Wick is a master of weapons. Also, 12 gauge steel slug armor piercing rounds from a shotgun at point blank range... god damn. I love the world building. All the rules the traditions etc. And having stunt people directing REALLY makes the action awesome. "Oh shit, the took a finger!" Flips him off .So fucking good.
Yeh that always annoyed me whenever I watch Saving Private Ryan when those guys get shot underwater and the bullets fly through them like there's no water at all.
I like how the movie handle the armored troops. They are only scary because they are armored, the troops themself are pretty "bad". The trooos are used to being invincible so they don't care about cover and perception which ultimetly is the downfall.
@@albinlindh4000 To quote Star Wars, "Fear is the ultimate weapon." Everyone fears the high table, even though the high table is pretty weak. Fear keeps everyone in line.
Spinning the cylinder is a smart idea in that specific style of revolver with a removable cylinder to ensure the cylinder is seated properly. When he cocks the hammer it engages the cylinder lockup, lining up the round with the firing pin. As for the stabbing through the hands, it depends on whether he hit a nerve cluster.
For the hands I know most of the muscles that control your finger movements are actually in the wrist and forearm. The nerve clusters are mainly for feeling so you would still be able to “use” your hand, though idk how well.
I have a single action .22 revolver that I keep on display on the mantle. I switched out the cylinder with a spare one I had from another gun. If someone were to steal it, it wouldn't work for them.
The two martial artists that John fights near the end and spares are from an Indonesian movie called The Raid, the reason he spares them is because the John Wick movies are heavily inspired by The Raid movies and the director said it was an honor to work with them. You should definitely check them out next if you like John Wick.
And internally to the movie, there is a certian level of professional respect between some of the members. Tis why they picked him up, and gave him the second shot. No honor in killing a downed man like him.
Mark Decascos is a legit martial artist, he played The Crow on the tv series Stairway To Heaven. They made him a sushi chef because he was also the longtime host of Iron Chef America, a cook-off battle with strange themes and ingredients based on a Japanese game show.
@@ryanpayne7707 Brandon Lee was supposed to star but we all know how that turned out. Instead the tv show was put on hold and they made a couple really bad movie sequels with different versions of The Crow hoping to turn one of them into a tv show but fans wanted Eric Draven, enter Mark and the tv show has its star. Eric Draven's loft on the tv show is near the corner of West Hastings and Cambie Street in downtown Vancouver, 3 blocks from where I lived in Gastown, just the outside for establishing shots, the interior was a set.
The little knives they use in the second to last fight are called karambit. They are way more effective in close combat than larger knives, and many special forces use them. Effectively, you can use the integral ring on the back to spin them, increasing your range and attacking at angles and speeds that would normally be impossible. Also, those two are extremely good martial artists (and masters with the karambit) and actors who were in a movie called The Raid, that you should check out. PS. One piece of missing context for the top swordfighter is that he is played by the guy who was the Iron Chef host (who is also a very well accomplished martial artist). Him being a sushi chef and assassin is a nod to that.
This girl loves her some karambit knives. Got a lovely pair of them that my hubby gave me a few years back for my birthday. Damascus ladder pattern steel. He told me if I ever needed them for self-defense to just channel my inner 'Velociraptor' LOL 🤪
Watching this in the theater was so awesome. Literally everyone in the audience just groaning and yelling like crazy. Most fun I’ve ever had at a movie.
The cool thing about this movie is Keanu reeves insisted on making all the kill scenes real, and commiting the killings himself. He said people loved that he did his own stunts in the other movies and he had all the training and skills needed so he felt it was time to up his game. It's one of the reasons he's the most respected man in hollywood.
@@LtGhost-tb3kq Haha, I just mixmatched parts of things people always comment about Keanu and John Wick into one package, it sounds kind of plausible in a way too, like you read it and you're like "yeah that makes sense" and then it kind of sinks in and you're like "wait a minute"
I heard the director did not inform the stuntmen that Keanu would actually shoot them with live ammunition and stab them with real knives. So when they got shot or stabbed, their shock is genuine. Hence the realism of the movie.
That "chode knife" is a karambit and is arguably one of the best fighting knives ever made. Did you pay attention to what Zero said? No one kills John but him. Those other guys were his students. They are not going to go against their sensei's declaration but they wanted to see how good John was. When you are good at something, the greatest test of your skills is using them against someone who is better. They also respect John as a legend.
Those "chode knives" were actually karambits- they're traditional weapons in the Philippines, Thailand, and other SE Asian countries, and extremely effective for hand-to-hand combat when used properly. It's helpful that the karambits also are rather intuitive on where to slash. There are also at least 2 different design forms of karambits, and multiple fighting styles for them.
15:40 for context, chefs who prepare blowfish remove all but a little of the poison. the reason they leave a bit of poison is so that when eating, you feel a little tingling sensation on your tongue.
The blowfish can be poisonous if it is cut wrong. It has to be cut in a certain area for it to not be poisonous. It takes master chefs to do this. That scene shows just how skilled this man is. Love the reactions dude! Apparently they're working on a spin-off series about the ballerinas, which I'm excited about! Have a dope ass day!
yes, but also! fun fact! blowfish gets its poison from the food they eat in the wild, and most blowfish used in cooking are made from fish raised in captivity. this means that most edible blowfish isnt actually poisonous at all, and the whole ”cutting it the right way” is often just used as a marketing strategy. rarely chefs want to serve customers food that can get the restaurant sued lol.
the fight against zero's disciples duo with the belt is the callback from when he first went to the opera house and the guys told John to remove his belt cus he's so dangerous even with a belt as a weapon
Fun fact : Keanu rode that horse down the streets of Manhattan at around 1 a.m. and shot scenes for the movie all through the night. He was 45 minutes away from my apartment in Brooklyn. It was really cool. I love that they actually shot all three movies on location and not just in Vancouver, Canada, like so many other shows/movies do now. Edit : "Seven days." is from "The Ring".
Honestly, when he was in the desert it wasn't that stupid to keep his jacket on. Otherwise his arms would be burned by the sun. And for dehydration, it wouldn't have made much of a difference either.
In fact, the coins do not have monetary value, but they offer one service, be it opening the door to the bar, cleaning a body or buying a gun. One coin for one thing
At 32:00 I think he "strokes" out like that because hes reloading two shells at once. I think its the technique for that. And for the underwater scene where the bullets just lose their velocity, it's actually quite realistic, water is much much more dense than air is so the bullet actually drops off much faster. Its why when I watch scenes where u see bullets whizz past the hero when he jumps into a body of water, i just laugh xD

SO many fun facts and cool things with this movie! Halle Berry did the same training as Keanu with Taran so she is also a total badass. Also Keanu is obsessed with motorcycles so the scene with the motorcycles is super legit. He actually has his own motorcycle company. He's definitely one of the coolest and most unique guys in Hollywood.
being stabbed in the hand's like the russian woman was she would still be able to use the hands after a lot of surgery and therapy being that the bones in the hands are spread out and rounded the blade would most likely be deflected of a bone and push through the soft tissue probably damaging nerves and tendons which can with a lot of work be brought back to usable condition. i wont go into details on how i know this lets just say took my allmost 18 months to get 90% or movement and use back into my right hand after an injury like the one in the film were my palm was pierced through to the back.
Mark Dacascos as Zero, the bald main Asian hitman, was my favorite character aside from John of course. The way he turned into such a fanboy when they are first at the Continental, I laughed so hard I cried. 😂😂
Re: how much ammo is in that gun The team is religious about ammo counts. This is one of the few franchises that gets that right. Also, I would drink Sophia's backwash.
its not perfect in ammo counts as far as i know, but its generally pretty on point. one that stands out to me is during the continental fight before the shotguns. empties a pistol, pulls out the rifle, then suddenly has a reloaded pistol again after the meetup. small hiccups like that are excuseable imo.
12:55 - "Seven Days." That was in The Ring (2002) (at least the American version). There was a Japanese version originally made in 1998. Although, I have not seen that version. The Ring (US version) was also spoofed in Scary Movie 3 (2003) as well.
Skulls were the cast skulls of Assassins of note throughout Continental History. You can see other little effects below them. A pocket watch in one, a raven feather in another, a straight edge razor.
Fun fact about the gunfire not greatly spooking those horses; they train horse and buggy pullers to be used to sudden loud noises like car horns, shouting, and car backfire (similar to gunshots), and sudden movements such as flapping clothing, car doors opening, people suddenly stepping out from behind something for safety reasons.

"Juxtaposition" would be the right word regarding the classical music scene. Dark atmosphere, but flowy, almost whimsical music contrasted with the bright, orderly, methodical-and-mechanical look and sound of them loading up those magazines. Also, need that shirt you've got.
"One Punch Man" guy is actually Mark Dacascos. He played The Crow in the TV series in the 90's. He was also the Chairman on 13 seasons of Iron Chef: America, among MANY other roles. :) LOVED watching this with you!
I think the high table and continental system works like a blend some old systems from antiquity. Each hotel is a Hellenistic Satrapy answering to the high table (flavor feels like a late republic or early imperial Roman Senate to me). The adjudicator chick would be like a Roman Praetor in that comparison. But a powerful enough Satrap could leverage his own personal power against the home province (high table), which is what Winston did. And the elder is obviously the Emperor. And while most of the other assassins are out for the money, I think Mark Dacascos' assassins want the bragging rights of beating John Wick without taking too much undue advantage. Like "ok, we did have to fight through a whole army, so John gets a few do-overs".
"The adjudicator chick would be like a Roman Praetor in that comparison." EXACTLY. I saw a lot of imperial-era Rome in how the assassin org is operated, e.g., a set of powerful crime lord consulars as its High Table with the Elder operating as Caesar, individual magistrates at each Continental, etc. etc. etc. And of course the Adjudicator as a powerful praetor with judicial authority. Although it's not clear as of JW3, the Adjudicator probably would only answer to the Elder, and even the High Table itself would be within the scope of her authority to adjudicate if that's the case. She at the very least has the power to enable or disable the protected status of entire areas/regions/segments of operation within the assassin organization, e.g., de-consecrating/re-consecrating the NY Continental.
Halle Berry trained in gun shooting, weapon combat, and with the dogs for about 8 months. The dogs are still puppies in the movie, they are barely over a year old. She had to train with them, because then they would listen to her when she was telling them to go in the scene. Everytime they bite/grab onto people, they bite into sandbags that are strapped onto their body suits, and the dog really did leap the column to kill the (last guy I think) guy atop the column in the square. He was tied, in case he fell, but they trained him by increasing the height little by little until he was there. The coins are worth one thousand dollars, but they're more than just currency. There are some things you simply cannot do/get with cash, but can with the coins. Even though they were on stationary motorcycles for the chase, Keanu still acted like it was a real bike going 60 by changing his hand on the accelerator when he cuts/stabs the guy next to him on the CGI bridge. The little details are what make or break a movie, and this one is made.
He was supposed to be the host of Tales From The Continental, which was a planned anthology show on Cinemax, telling stories about various assassins and the hotel. Sadly it never happened.
These young generations don't know their classics... Well I for one saw it instantly. And I was 25 when John Wick 3 came out. Come on, even the angle and the expression and the tone of voice are the same. Considering that Keanu Reeves doesn't really age...😅 Maybe it's the hair and beard that's distracting? 🤷🏼♀️

The thing about these movies that's really funny is that there is no down time in the movie world. All of them take place one after the other. He gets beaten, shot, stabbed, blown up etc in each one and then goes right back at it in the next one. John Wick is the original Energizer Bunny, either that or he has an IV pump strapped to his body constantly feeding him a mixture of meth and heroin.
When he says "Guns, Lots of Guns", it's a callback to the Matrix, when he goes in to save Trinity. The operator asked him what he wanted, and he said, "Guns, Lots of Guns"
Another vote for reactions to The Raid movies. Subtitles, but brilliant movies. Non-stop action once it gets going . One, (or some?), of the final bosses in this were in those also.
The adjudicator works for the high table, she's kinda like judge and jury when someone breaks the rules of the high table. The black coin shows she's high up and her station
6:08 Alex says, "This movie is not going to be good for my heartrate." Look at it this way, Alex. You got your cardio in for the day!! 😜 Cool factoid, Keanu Reeves trained for 4000 (Yes, four thousand) hours with firearms for these movies. He did 'run & gun', a type of moving target competitions, and google the cool AF Rolex's he gave to his four stuntmen after the rap of the last movie. 'The John Wick 5', each engraved with that, the movie title, and the stuntman's name. Has to be the classiest movie rap gift of all time. But, that's Keanu. Classy. *(IMHO)*
Front Desk dude is is The Concierge, played by Lance Reddick. Great actor, mostly known for The Wire and John Wick in TV/Movies. Arguably his most popular role is Zavala in the Destiny games.
The "Cool, very cool" part probably was the guy being sarcastic; I mean, he's Wick's fanboy. He knows that just a dozen more ppl won't be enough to kill John Wick. His face was like 'sure ma'am, chuck them into a meat grinder'.
The origin of assasins come from persia. The hashashin. So the lore of him going to a morroco is pretty accurate to going to see the boss of the whole assasin ring in a tent with them wearing native clothing like that. Like how they would've started.

I only recently discovered that you did movie reactions, and imagine my pleasure when it was the John Wick trilogy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE those movies. It is the deepest fantasy combined with the ultimate reality. You reactions are about as honest as possible, and keep me in stitches. Its a sub plot/story to the matrix. There are the same actors, the director was Keanu's stunt double. The Doctor was the key maker, Morpheus etc etc. Also explains why the public and the police dont seen to care too much, its another reality inside the matrix after it got reset and Neo reinserted. There are videos on here that go into it in so much more detail. Its a cool thing to keep in the back of your mind.

The whole 'hall of glass' piece was their homage to Bruce Lee's classic Enter The Dragon's iconic 'Hall of Mirrors' finale. But I think this has been your best [well funniest for the rest of us watching you squirm!!] reaction yet!
In the underwater scene notice John swam backwards for 3-4 feet before the guy shoots at him. That is because a gun shot underwater only is effective for a foot or two. Shooting on land and into water , bullets are lethal much further. Neat tip to know if you ever happen to be in a gun fight under water.
Alex, watching your face during John Wick reactions make’s me smile the rest of my day. Just wanted you to know even though it is extremely corny you make a difference in my day. 😁😂❤️
Great reaction mate. As an Australian young man myself I loved the John Wick film franchise because it is so awesome, so badass, so entertaining, so fascinating, so intense, and so wild & my favourite one was the first film. Poor John he was orphaned when he was a boy, he lost his childhood joy by being indoctrinated to be trained as a ruthless assassin plus hitman for different criminal organizations, he lost his beloved wife Helen to terminal illness, his first dog Daisy was killed, his friend Harry was killed, his friend Marcus was murdered, his cool vintage car wrecked, his beautiful house blown up, his continental hotel privileges lost, his continental allies turn against him, he lost his reputation, he lost his safety, he lost his ring-finger, & he had to give up his deceased wife’s wedding ring to the Elder of the High Table, what is he going to lose next? absolutely depressing & painful. This poor tough man can’t even a catch a break. The only time he caught a break when he married his wife Helen for five years until she sadly passed away. He lost mostly everything positive in his life. Any normal human being around the world would have committed suicide if they experience those awful tragedies in their life. Like seriously his life is literally a never-ending nightmare absolutely devastating. Life is full of ongoing suffering like seriously it is so not fair that we humans have to experience depressing chapters in our lives, but I guess that is the price of being born alive into this sad wicked world.
Idk if anyone's answered this yet, but most helmets are built to defend the head against heavy concussive blows. Not bullets. To give you a better idea of the penetrating power of a bullet, even a pistol caliber round will have no issue going straight through a normal car door. If you ask any firearms or ballistics expert, they'll tell you that cars offer little cover from gunfire. So those bike helmets wouldn't do anything. Even the helmets soldiers wore through most of the Cold War era were only worn to protect against debris and shrapnel. Even if the bullet didn't go through it would probably put a big dent in it and mostly likely knock you unconscious at the very least. Bullets are usually a lot more powerful than Hollywood typically makes them out to be.
@@amandafox8603 I think you are right, it would be a great spin off. This is how you portray a badass woman and not what Disney and Marvel are doing. Men have no problem watching a strong and dangerous women like this, everything about Sofia gives you the impression of training, practise and dedication. She has obviously suffered and there is a hidden back story to her and JW's association. That would make a great film.
What’s interesting at the beginning of the film the one hour that John had was for being excommunicado. The assassin in the library could’ve turned John in for the 14million bounty at any time cause the bounty was for killing Santino’s sister and Santino himself. For killing Santino in the Continental he was given an hour to get his affairs in order and to have access to any services. I’d love to know what the “favor” disk that Winston gave him was. If it was a blank one or if it was Winston owing him. I’d think spinning the cylinder is a real trick and not a movie trick with how real all the other gun stuff is. If he has a 15 round mag in a gun he shoots 15 and reloads not like other movies that some guns have mags that hold infinite bullets. I like how great and well behaved the dog is for being an animal that was scheduled to be put down. They made John take off his belt cause they knew he could use it as a weapon. If Zero would’ve shot John while he was touching Continental grounds then Zero himself would find himself excommunicado for doing business on company grounds even though John wasn’t in the fold anymore. Technically they weren’t lying when they said the Continental was closing due to fumigation. The high table saw John & Winston as pests so they were bringing exterminators to take care of the pests. It’s sad that Charon (front desk guy) died March 17th 2023 at age 60. RIP Lance Reddick. Future John Wicks won’t be the same without him.
When John Wick first came out it was such a breath of fresh air! Simple but elegant made it so so good, dark and twisted but not sick made it all the better! Three years later when the sequel was coming out it was so so exciting, so it’s good to wait a while in between movies Especially John Wick it will make the next one coming out that much sweeter when we all get to see it. And speaking of not sick, I’m pretty sure in the second one when he shoves the knife ‘up the guys ass’, that’s not what he was doing. I would’ve let this go except you mentioned it twice already, I’m pretty sure his only goal was to slice the shit out of the femoral artery and get the job done…hope you like this one ✌😎💚 … there is a pretty good movie though that actually does talk about what it does to shoot a man up his ass with a gun as a style of a Mob hit, it’s a little sick and twisted but a pretty good movie if you’re ever up for the genre it’s called “Things to do in Denver When You’re Dead” Andy Garcia Christopher Walken Steve Buscemi, check it out sometime

It's called quad loading. He takes four shells in his hand. Two shells are slid into the gate and tube fed at a time.

Thanks, I never really knew that
Not to mention Winston shot him in the bulletproof suit that he saw John put on. Hence Chiron telling him "well played, Sir."
Falling from your own height can easily kill you. The fall John took, should lead to multiple severely broken ribs, broken back, completely shattered bones in hands and legs and significant enough trauma to the brain to cause brain bleed.

As for the stabbing through the hands, it depends on whether he hit a nerve cluster.

The ballistics of guns underwater is fun to research- as long as you're ~3ft away, the bullets will curve and lose momentum.

"The adjudicator chick would be like a Roman Praetor in that comparison."
EXACTLY.

This is my favorite movie franchise ever. Just binge watched all your John wick reactions at 2am with my 80lbs pittie curled up under my arm. Can't wait for chapter 4 to come out. Looking forward to your reaction.
The whole 'hall of glass' piece was their homage to Bruce Lee's classic Enter The Dragon's iconic 'Hall of Mirrors' finale. But I think this has been your best [well funniest for the rest of us watching you squirm!!] reaction yet!
YES!!!
😂😍 this makes me super happy! Thank you for your kindness
Halle berry's character was so cool along with her badass dogs...I wanna see a spin-off movie or show of her character
I watched all 3 of your John Wick reactions back-to-back-to back, and it was the best Tuesday evening I've spent in a LONG while.
I hope John gets enough time to recover because his ribs are probably broken after that jump.
His legs have been hit by like six cars and they're just fine. 😁
Love the nod to The Matrix when John says, "Guns. Lots of guns!" @28:31 he even mentions that in an interview I believe. It was very intentional.
like this one also if they pulled the right strings john wick could be connected to the assassins creed universe
Oh shit. I appreciate this response! 👊🏼👊🏼
Please PLEASE watch the Raid films. If you loved the action choreography in John Wick, you'll love the Raid 😄 Awesome reactions bud!
Ayy! 28:30 "Guns, lot's of guns" - Said by John Wick AND Neo. Cool!
why isn't this public yet lol
Oooooh, I LOVE the loyalty and friendship Winston and John have for each other.
Sofia (Halle Berry's character) and her dogs deserve their own John Wick Universe movie. I believe she could pull it off.
She definitely does. I'd watch the shit out of it. Especially if Keanu helps direct it.
I would’ve let this go except you mentioned it twice already, I’m pretty sure his only goal was to slice the shit out of the femoral artery and get the job done…hope you like this one ✌😎💚
… there is a pretty good movie though that actually does talk about what it does to shoot a man up his ass with a gun as a style of a Mob hit, it’s a little sick and twisted but a pretty good movie if you’re ever up for the genre it’s called “Things to do in Denver When You’re Dead” Andy Garcia Christopher Walken Steve Buscemi, check it out sometime
TY again Alex for doing these for us. ♥
