I know you were generalizing but i just wanna go on the record saying i always like a video before it even loads because i wanna support the TH-camrs but don't wanna forget to click it afterwards. If i don't like the video then I'll click the dislike afterwards

This is by far one of the most awe inspiring & thought provoking video's i've seen in a very long time. The fact that you can spend a half hour talking about viewing something from someone else's perspective alone is a fairly big challenge, but not applying your own bias throughout the entirety of the video is in a completely new league. Going back to the old cliche "if you open your mind too much, your brain will fall out" I think you have both topically,& logically found a perfect balance.
This is the kind of stuff that keeps me watching for the whole 20-30 mins. Your so confident and you speak your mind in a way that is understandable to me. Amazing video as always.
My god man, after watching this commentary I have to say that you are one of the few commentators who I can listen to for 30 minutes on a topic like this. I dont know how you do it but you just keep my interest throughout the video. Keep these up man they're really entertaining.

What makes this commentary so great is that this kind of class and intelligence is so uncommon in what we know as the "CoD Community." It's great that someone is willing to step forth and put forth the effort to discuss topics that so few other gameplay commentators ever touch. Additionally, you have to consider that a larger channel like Woody, xJawz, or Whiteboy simply doesn't have the kind of core fanbase to understand or appreciate something like this.

I actually enjoy commentaries like this Drift0r. It's videos like these that weed out the immature and see who are really into your content and not just here for tips and stats- though that's perfectly fine too.
It's a big example of understanding multiple viewpoints. You can do the same thing for opinions you don't understand. Whatever political or religious affiliation you're a part of, you can use this exercise to understand people better. Probably not agree with them, but at least understand them.
I'm aware of this. Most people's beliefs are on a spectrum of some sort and few people are hardcore and absolute about anything. The example is just easier made by comparing extremes.

For the sake of that argument, yes. It's simple and it works. I mostly do think Osama is responsible. The vast majority of 9/11 conspiracy theories fall apart under scrutiny, especially the one about thermite. However, I don't think its at all improbable that factions in our government know about the attack, or maybe just any attack, before hand and did nothing about it. A lot of money was made in Iraq and Afghanistan for some people.

Yup. Well, some of them worked, some didn't, and some worked better than ideas. It's kind of like a cultural evolution. Experimenting with new values is a slow and usually chaotic process. In the longest of long runs, good idea live, and bad ideas die.
Drift0r's special talent: What I find interesting about Drift0r's introspective videos is how he can just take this amazing talent of changing your perspective temporarily, and you can feel this evil, dirty, rusty power, but something deep inside you sort of enjoys the feeling. Also dealing with power, is how he finds paradigms(ideas) that give you such an easy way to feel understanding, like you have the power to know how the world works.

Also, the reason this thing blew up (and most likely out of proportion) is because TH-cam users are extremely fast to jump on people and just hate, hate, hate, all day long because they don't have anything else to do. There are a ton of people who would do this.

Good call sticking with your guns. But you can't vote in primaries without registering with a party. It stinks, but prevents groups of people crashing primaries and screwing up the process.

"not in your situation" That's the part you are missing. iFly could not punch him in the face because he has no public name and if so would be like 1,000 miles away. Machinima did nothing. TH-cam did nothing. There was no legal precedent. He retaliated the only way he could, and honestly, it was the most effective kind of retaliation possible.
This is something I'm struggling with too. Without numbers WTF do I do??? The monotone-ness is a hard to break out of though. Had a crappy family situation as a kid and had to lie a lot to get by. Being monotone makes lying a lot easier.

Your logic is sound. In general, innocent people make a lot of noise and go down hard. A large portion of guilty people just quit. However, they are a few innocent ones that quit too so it's not a 100% for sure thing.
I have a tiny channel and I get hit with heaps of requests, messages and people asking if I can help them out. I can't imagine how bad it gets when you get upwards of 50,000 subs. Some people need to chill. Good commentary, I love the juxtaposition of your commentary content and the gameplay footage in the background
Nope. My IQ is fairly low. Probably in the 110-120 range if I retested. Mensa is a big circle jerk of smart people that solve puzzles all day instead of doing something useful. Also, IQ is an odd representation of intelligence.
Some are. You may have been, but many are not, especially in European countries. Also, many people are given a very poor and narrow religious education that almost inevitably leads to rebellion.
